As I never got any co-hearant replies to my last post I'll try this one....should be fun....does anyone have info on cheap one night hotels (not hostels) in Krabi close to the port as we need to catch a ferry to Phi Phi next day, arriving 9th April.

Can anyone confirm if the ferry from Krabi to Lanta and return stops at the end of April ? If so how much will it cost to get back to Krabi from Lanta by taxi or if there is a mini bus service and cost, we will be returning on the 6/7th May,

Don't know why I put passport ?? I meant visa !

Can anyone help,

1. Myself and my wife are spending a month in Thailand (phi-phi and lanta) can we get a passport on arrival and if so should we arrive with visa size photos ? We may be 1 day over our alloted time so will we need to pay a fine on exit.

2. Do the ferries from Lanta stop at the end of April, if so we will have to travel by road back to krabi, any idea on the price of a taxi or is there a bus/mini bus service.
