  1. WRLife, are a UK company, with an "office" in Bangkok, I and few other friends have been with them for 4 years and made a few claims that were paid, there are alot of WRLife agents I see on line, not sure who they are. I can give you my agent a UK guy, he looks after everything. There a good bare bones insurance. KR Colin
  2. An Aussie friend of mine, who is married to a Thai in Aussie applied for a visa ext. based on a spouse, in this process he had his Aussie marriage certificate translated at the Aussie embassy in Thailand and certified. He then got a kor 22 from the amphur office. The question is does he need get a fresh translation and certification every extension? Or only the once? Unfortunately, he gave the original in with his first extension so whatever he does he will need to do it again. KR Colin
  3. I think item 2 relating to Thai child is their birth certificate.
  4. I tried to add it too Google maps, but could not find its postal address, the location quoted is correct. I guess immigration will add it later.
  5. Some immigration offices do not allow you to swap, talk to them first.
  6. The real reason, so my wife didn't waste a day at immigration every year, but as it turns out the following extension they wanted to see her because he was "too small" (about 5) at the time.
  7. I'm have the same circumstances, my wife works in Bangkok for 3 times the salary, I look after our son in the sticks, I've done 4 extensions like this, the first for a Thai wife and then based on my son, we have also been open with immigration and had no problems whatso ever. KR Colin
  8. The cost is not a lot different, the 12 months is more expensive. just check with your local branch.
  9. I got two 6 month statements, on half way through the year, the other at the end, these can by done at your local branch on the day.
  10. Do you need an appointment at the MFA for the translation of documents and certification?
  11. I have been told the TM30 has been scrapped, I know the TM6 has been, can when one clarify?
  12. This is from my post "but is un-clear what the steps are for him to get married at the Amphur office". In any event I think I understand the process now, many thanks Kind Regards Colin
  13. An Aussie friend is married to a Thai in Australia, they now want to live in Thailand, he is now here on a 90 day Non o visa for a Thai wife and wants to gain an extension local based on his Thai wife. he understands the ext requirements. but is un-clear what the steps are for him to get married at the Amphur office. He visited the Amphur office and they told him he had contact the Aussie embassy to have his Aussie marriage translated and certified. does anyone know if this correct? Also he needs to get his passport translated and certified. Normally this can be done by the MFA. Can anyone clarify? what the steps are? Kind Regards Colin
  14. I did try that when I changed the settings, but it made no difference. KR Colin
