You talk about a family visa, normally its Thai spouse ext (wife) or Thai dependent ext (child), if its your child and documented that way, marriage cert, birth cert in your name, you could go for Thai dependent, which funds have to be there on the day of application. The extra documents you will need are birth cert, childs ID (if they have I) and blue book registration

An Aussie friend of mine, who is married to a Thai in Aussie applied for a visa ext. based on a spouse, in this process he had his Aussie marriage certificate translated at the Aussie embassy in Thailand and certified. He then got a kor 22 from the amphur office. The question is does he need get a fresh translation and certification every extension? Or only the once? Unfortunately, he gave the original in with his first extension so whatever he does he will need to do it again. KR Colin

I think item 2 relating to Thai child is their birth certificate. -

Some immigration offices do not allow you to swap, talk to them first. -

An Aussie friend is married to a Thai in Australia, they now want to live in Thailand, he is now here on a 90 day Non o visa for a Thai wife and wants to gain an extension local based on his Thai wife. he understands the ext requirements. but is un-clear what the steps are for him to get married at the Amphur office. He visited the Amphur office and they told him he had contact the Aussie embassy to have his Aussie marriage translated and certified. does anyone know if this correct? Also he needs to get his passport translated and certified. Normally this can be done by the MFA. Can anyone clarify? what the steps are? Kind Regards Colin

Many thannks to all of you, I have Windows 11 so the change to the adpators was different, but I found a video on YouTube, but it made no difference, and I was thinking it cant be a bloody cable, and when I switched it out it sprung into life 900MPS. KR Colin

I have just moved to 3BB fibre (1GPS/100MPs), my WIFI speeds are about 4/500mps, however, my ethernet speeds on my PC are about 100mps since installation, where as my old AIS 300mps package was typically 200mps, Ive logged on to the router and cant see anything that might help, before I call them as anyone had a similar experience. I have just moved to 3BB fibre (1GPS/100MPs) and the network conection to my CCTV network via ethernet is not working, I'm thinking the DVR (HikVision) has an old network protocol, I have looked on Google and cant see much about it. BTW if I run the system and swapped back and forth between the two routers and always get the same results. KR Colin

Many thanks, I have Fibre service, with wifi and ethernet (are they treated differently?)

Does anyone know which Thai internet providers throttle users data? I'm with AIS at the mo and have been told 3BB does not throttle. KR
