That’s only if one spouse is piggy-backing on the other. 
Otherwise both parties apply for their own extension and each needs 800k in the bank.

Does anyone have a good supplier of water hyacinth furniture in Chiang Mai? I believe there are masses of shops that sell the furniture but prices seem to be pretty high when ordered from people here in Phuket. Am thinking of going to CM myself and sourcing it there. Are there any shops/factories that have good quality stuff that you could recommend to cut down on trawling time?

It really does give Patong and Phuket a terrible name, that you can't go out, get drunk and be sure to get home safely. You can't blame the others. The sad fact is that you can't trust a member of the community, having been paid handsomely, to take someone home. Sad sad place and sad sad people
