Thanks for the reply. My thai wall socket only has 2 pins so have only tried with a Thai 2 pin. It had the same affect as UK plug with adapter on and only lit up the display but didnt heat up.

Im not sure if this is the right area of forum to ask this but here goes.

I brought a heat press over from the UK, the kind you press vinyl etc onto clothing.

This worked in the UK as is quite new.

It says on the side of press that its 220v 10A and 2400W

The lights actually come on the control display but no power is drawn to heat up. eg no clicking of thermostat as heat is added.

Is there anyway of getting this to work over here.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We are coming to Chiang Mai in September and Im trying to find out which school offers the best sporting facilities for a 6 year old boy. Ive tried searching myself but cannot find anything apart from Under 10 Football and cricket but not a lot of detail. Does anyone have any first hand experience of what is available, specifically for the 6 - 7 year old range? Right now he plays a lot of devolpment type football and I would like this to continue in Chiang Mai as well as starting to play cricket. I would appreciate any help on this, both school and after school activities.
