to Thai charities ?Yes, after each quarterly disaster someone donates a few paltry bags of rice, some water, lots of sympathy

but not much money ! Matter of fact I've not seen any Thai name associated with the Bill Gates originated International Pledge Fund ! Though on a limited budget I do give to charity and still am called a " Cheap Charlie " !

I recently got my new US passport and went on 90 day date, had transfer made, had to return next day to get passport back and THEN, made 90 day report .

They would not do 90 day stamp until passport info transferred.

This kind of a hit or miss situation as I have heard of peole caught at the airport and

delayed enough, paying fine etc,to miss flight ! I, not a risk taker, would do report now.

Until you are deported or die and, based on Immigration competence, maybe even after both events

every year !

Inasmuch as the Thai educational system ? is totally ineffective I don't believe reducing the hours, or, indeed, having to go to school at all is important. Street smarts will serve most

far better then the " no fail" schools !

Getting it at all, uncrushed or picked over, is a plus but if you want it , for sure, undamaged and fast the pay a bundle to Fed ex or Dhl. etc.
