You could try Green's https://goo.gl/maps/cmfm4P4foTCd42BeA. They aren't too far from you. I haven't been to the shop but their online store has Branston and Heinz baked beans so I guess the physical store might as well.

You could try here https://goo.gl/maps/Pj8JkrAbgUtBV7et6 they are affiliated with forestry management and make solid teak furniture. We had our beds made there and they are very good

I think this is right near my house, I've seen the sign on the road and rode my bicycle in the soi but didn't see it, is it at the very end? Do they have pizza or just breads and croissants? I'd try it since it is so close.
They have very good pizza. I would say it is more in the Italian style. Go straight down the Soi about 120 metres. It is in the garden of a house on the left, just before the playground. Not open on Sundays.

Why not buy from the place where the Japanese restaurants buy from? We buy all of our Japanese cooking supplies from a place in Nong Hoi. It's on the R side coming from the city. I don't know the name - you will have to research it. It's a very busy shop. They have all the sauces, vinegars, seaweed, sushi making supplies and lots of imported frozen items.
What road is this on?

Japanese food store in Ruam Chok same side as all the noodle shops..
I'm pretty sure that is closed already. As the other person said, there is now one in Meechok, maybe the same people

Yes they are. You can go directly to Immigration and apply but it will take a long time, at least three weeks. You may also try an agent for overnight service. I got one via agent last week.

I also needed an electrician recently - my wife managed to find one but I received some good advice on here so I'll pass it on.
In some areas it is almost impossible to find a qualified electrician but as soon as you ask - every Tom and Dick is one, they're not. It is very likely that some of the engineers at you local PEA depot will do some 'moonlighting'.
Take a Thai speaker with you though.
Thanks. That seems like a very good idea

Advice: Keep looking and never look back. ????
To be serious, mostly they are horrible. Not saying you can not find a good one, but it´s hard.I know. The good are very rare then hard to book since they are so busy. (Magnificent name, by the way. Are you really Icelandic?)

We still haven't recovered from a lightning strike last year. Some of our wiring has to be redone and a couple of wall fans installed. Looking for a competent and reliable electrician. Any suggestions would be welcome

this place handles a lot of brands. I believe they do repairs. They also serve a very good cup of coffee, which may be a good indicator.

ALLTECH Solutions worked very well for us too. No problems, good service and a good price

Thank you for doing this, and thank you for the information too.

Today it took 2 hours or so, from just before 9:30 AM to change my one year licence to my first 5 year. 605 Baht and the only test was the traffic light colour test. No video, no rules test. Staff were quite pleasant and there was enough time to have a quick breakfast at the food stalls out back.

Khun Chai 089 835 7848 just finished tracking down an electrical fault in my kitchen. He came out promptly at lunchtime on a Sunday. English was pretty good, His son came too and they spent 2 hours checking everything and fixing the fault. Very pleasant to deal with. all up came to 1,200 Bt. I consider that very reasonable, all things considered.

Might be of no use to you but there is a small business painting cars here https://goo.gl/maps/N1uKbs9XyG2nD48b6. I can't imagine they'd charge much
