I suggest people try the Leo Strong 8 brew..it’s actually a better lager than the rice beers produced by Chang and Singha. Taste a lot like Lao beer.
About time there was a bit of a challenge to the big boys and it will be worth buying an all malt brew at a slightly higher price.

Good riddance…he held back the nation for his own furtherance for far too long. The change to the Constitution his Government made must be reversed. No doubt his increased personal wealth will be investigated…NOT!!

Very balanced reporting!!! So how many Thai’s were arrested in the same time period. Then look at the number of Thai’s: Farang population during the year. You will then see the real, picture!!

Come to Hua Hin for your holiday and sneak around drinking alcohol in restaurants out of plastic mugs? Sounds like heaven! When will these numpties wake up? It’s not alcohol spreading Covid, it’s density of population in one place. Reasonable, intelligent people do not have to be treated like ill-informed idiots. Have the jabs. Take well documented precautions when out and about and not have this nanny state nonsense any more.

Having just received my vaccination certificate(50 Baht) it firmly states it is for international travel. Unfortunately the UK does not recognise the AZ produced under licence as a reliable vaccine and will not accredit the dose for travel to the UK. The certificate has open pages for another 8 doses which means to me they expect many more boosters. Personally I will be insisting on a UK produced dose next time (even if I have to pay for it)

a bit OT , but locally produced AZ is recognized in some European countries (FR,DE) and in the process to be recognized by EMA and WHO (source - AZ website and FR/DE embassy).
But U.K. does not recognise Sinovac so complete waste of time for U.K. nationals wanting to return with quarantine

‘Lose their job or resign”!! If they are caught then there should be financial reparation from the private assets of the individual. There should also be jail time. That includes the politicians, health officials and any others in the multi trough of corruption that is allegedly happening.

The incompetence of this Government in nearly every single area is well known , even to the Thai! At last, this completely inept junta are being shown for what they are. There is resistance amongst the populace but, straight away, the Government is using lockdown to quell as much as possible. I really fear that there will be a major uprising if these idiots in power do not get this vaccine rollout organised better. Having lived here for years, I worry for the lower income Thai’s, whose very life is now at serious risk.

As usual......the farang comes last except when it comes to paying money!! The powers that be seem to forget that farang residents(long term visas) pay probably more direct tax than most Thais.

Ripping off tourists? Maybe a quick memo to the police and taxi drivers would be a start as they seem to be experts!!

Isn’t it about time that Thais understand that Covid affects all races and the biggest outbreaks have come by their failure to stop illegal entrants? It is not the tourists who have passed the tests who they should be concerned about, it’s the border officials who are not policing that is a much bigger problem.

Try Asiaexpattv.org. 600 baht a month or 6000 a year. 17,000 channels, movies series and catch up. Good service

I need to get whatever drug she’s on! It obviously makes one delusionally happy for no valid reason at all. Or is she from a parallel planet where they have no Covid related shutdown worldwide?

This man is disrespectful, low intelligence and unworthy of his job. How on this earth he can spout such nonsense? Dirty farang?? No, he is a dirty Thai... he is not socially distancing in this photo....has no mask and has no appreciation of the true epidemic. Get rid of this unsavoury idiot from Government and put in place an intelligent person who understands what is needed. Not some inbreed who has strong financial links to the political party!!

HomePro in Market Village requires you to write down your name and phone number when entering and then telling them your phone number again on the way out. I guess they want to be able to do contact tracing if somebody comes down with it.
I noticed many at Home Pro were giving completely fictitious tel no’s such c111111111 and walking off!

Time for a social distance party. Let’s all get on our motorbike, with masks and without helmets, and run down to buy beer. But then there are 4 of us on the motorbike....that’s Thai social distancing. Don’t you love this country?

I’m on an 60 tourist visa extended 30 days to May 11th. I am hoping that this announcement will mean that I am ok to stay until end of July when I intend to go for a Non O prior to retirement visa( I will have the qualifying 3 months of 800k baht in the bank by then.
Am I correct in thinking I qualify for the blanket extension?
