I was wondering if you used a polarizing filter for this photo shot?

I was at the Thai consulate in Vientiane today and there is still no notice of a METV. Picking up my double-entry tourist visa tomorrow afternoon. Strange they haven't posted any info on the new METV yet.

I visited the Chang Rai immigration office close to the airport just last week. I was applying for a 30 day extension on the second half of my double entry tourist visa which was due to expire the very next day. I downloaded the extension application form off the Internet and filled it out and printed it before going to the office. I arrived at 9 AM and there was no one else in the office except staff. The whole process literally took just five minutes before I received the extension stamp in my passport. I found they were very courteous and professional and even called a taxi for me.

I just moved up to Chang Rai in the last couple of weeks but I found the Boomarang saloon makes a fantastic burger from top-quality Australian beef. It's situated right across the street from the Wangcome hotel. Trevor, the owner also sells a variety of Australian meats you can take home and cook. I find myself coming back often for the burger. Decent price, 140 baht and includes bacon cheese french fries lettuce and tomato.
