  1. Can anybody in, or who knows Koh Samui help me out here please.

I have been looking for a Toy shop or store for the past few weeks that sell (copy Lego) such as Lepin, I am after the more adult orientated 'creator' sets.

I have covered Toyshops in Tesco, Big C, Central, aswel as the big one on the top of the hill near Makro (Chaweng) and all of Lamai (I think).

Is there any big or good toy stores in Maenam, Boput or Naton or any where else that I may of missed ?

Thanks in advance for all sensible on topic answers.

    Kind regards

  2. You all make me laugh by complaining of the things that make Samui, Samui..... I reckon if you buy or rent a house close to the main roads then you are as brain dead as anyone else, first thing I always do when choosing somewhere to live is pick somewhere nowhere near a main road, it's not that hard ! Get a life or get out !

As you were asking about where the football would be shown on the forums the other day I guess that you don't know too much yourself so insulting other posters seems to me to be a tad unfair?

That was off the back of the army being here and closing everything early, asking if bars in areas I do not live in are open for a 4am kick off seems legitimate to me, I had no answers from anyone by the way, so maybe not knowing much makes me normal on here ?

  4. To be honest, sounds like you'd be better off travelling to Disney World or the like. Thailands popularity apart from the good things, is the mystery, danger, and uncertainty to many people who choose to come here ! Make sure you buy plenty of cotton wool before you leave your home country and wrap yourself up tight [emoji40][emoji298]️[emoji267][emoji111]️

  5. Lol, some people on here amaze me, if you don't like it, why live their, just move to somewhere else. This island is full of people that just moan and do not do anything about it, the whole reason most of us moved here was because we like how it is, better then home, then as soon as some people have been here a while start to change things. Thailand is great because it is Thailand simple as!

  6. Ok, just to let you all know, that I ordered my Minix box last Monday from Lazada.

I received my box on Thursday morning in Koh Samui, paid the post man, job done.

For all that have written the negative comments on this thread, maybe learn your address properly or start building some positive karma, then you may not have so many issues. :-)

Thanks to all the positive posters !

  7. I know it's not Samui, but this guy will post one to you. http://www.jsat.tv

They are in BKK, and have an online shop. I posted my one back to them for an upgrade and they returned it by post.

I bought a box from this guy... http://www.jsat.tv

Got help setting it up but when it quit working 3 months later I asked for help.

He told me to EMS the box to him in bkk and he would send me a new one. Guess what..it never came and all of my attempts to contact him when unanswered.

I forgot how much it was....10 or 15 thou.. Lost. Beware!!!

Wow, ripped off. I do not expect to pay any more than 4000 for an android tv box.

    Thanks for the info though.

  8. Hi, I was hoping someone on here could give me a bit of advice please, I have a couple of questions|:

I am moving back to Thailand with my Thai wife who I have been married to for 5 years, we will be leaving the UK in December. (we have been both living in UK for 5 years and she has Uk and Thai citizenship).

I am thinking about getting a non-o visa based on marriage and will get the 3 entries so that it gives us time to settle and get a permenant address before I apply for a marriage visa, now here is question one .... after looking up info on the Siam Legal website, it says that to qualify for a marriage visa, then I need a safety deposit of 400,000 baht in my thai bank account, but how can I have this if the only way I can get a Thai account is to already have a marriage visa ?

Question 2, if I get multiple entry visa for the 9 months, do I still have to cross the border every 90 days even though the visa is based on marriage ?

We are planning to move to Koh Samui.

I would appreciate any sensible help on these topics if pos please.

    Cheers
