Update on 90 day online …
I waited almost a week to receive 90 day approval online and so went to file in person.
As soon as I did I got an email that night saying my online was done and approved. And a pdf copy was attached to the email. So it worked but very slowly. You need to give it 7 days to turn around. Plan accordingly and start 15 days befor deadline.

Do it like have done in past I guess

I filed the 90 day online December 11 and got confirm that they received it. Still no response or error message. Still pending.
So I just went to Chiangmai office at Promenade and it took 5 minutes. -
I just tried to register for a password and it tells me it “failed to save data”. I tried about 10 times including going directly to the website and following the links. It still does not work.

Especially considering that we as US citizens are required by law to file US tax returns and to file other forms with the US government declaring foreign bank accounts and to pay US taxes on Worldwide income.

I just got my check from IRS this week. I took it to SCB where my wife and I have a joint account (she is Thai and American). They deposited the check at the days rate, put a hold on it for 60 days to clear and charged me 500 baht.
It is in my account, but can not use until the hold is taken off.

Form 114 FBAR (foreign bank and financial accounts) is required if:
1. If you have financial interest in or authority over one or more accounts in a foreign country and the total of all accounts exceed 10,000 USD at any time during the year.
2. The form 114 has to be electronically filed each year before June 30th (separate from your tax return).
3. Dividends and interest earned on these accounts is reported on your personal tax return and any withholding taxes on the foreign accounts can be deducted as a foreign tax credit on your personal return.
IN ADDITION:
If you have more than $200,000 in foreign financial assets (assuming you are single and living overseas) on the last day of the tax year OR the value is more than $300,000 at any time during the tax year, YOU have to file form 8938 (which is part of your personal tax return). This form reports detail info on your foreign accounts and the Maximum value of the accounts during the year. Very similar to Form 114.

As long as your income for the year 2019 is just related to your "combat related special compensation" and any other disability income, plus the social security of 11,000 then you are NOT required to file a tax return for 2019.
Your income (not including the disability portion) would have to be higher than $13,850 which is your standard deduction plus age related deduction.

This story frankly sounds fishy and is short on facts.

Thanks for the quick response.
Good to know that I am not only one with the problem this morning.
The service has been very bad for the last month at least at my location.

Beware of HD PRIME TV
I paid for an annual subscription about a month ago. As soon as I paid, it seems i was unable to watch a movie or any program all the way through without the streaming freezing and constantly buffering. It was impossible to watch TV.
I complained last week and the reply by email was to blame it on SINET my provider of fiber optic cable and internet. I spoke with SINET and they checked the connections and said no problem on their side.
I contacted HDPRIME again and complained that they were giving me the run around for a problem that is theirs.
This morning they have either cut my IP address and account off; or they have gone out of business. Not sure which one. They will not return my emails. I have no access to my account anymore.
Very bad!!!! Don't get tricked like I did.

May be of little consequence but they have a large capital loss that can be written off on their US tax return ( if American)
