If you want to build a house for your wife and family that's fine, but the Thai government should at least acknowledge that you are partial owner to something that you paid in full. As of right now, you have no claim to land or to a house. If you get sick and you need to pay for hospital bills or some other emergency do you have the right to sell that house like most normal people do in the west, or are you at the mercy of your loving Thai family? I am afraid you know the answer all too well, but you choose the ignorant option. Car is 2.6 years old excellent condition and I need to find some comparative insurance for it on how much I should be paying per year value I guess is about 300-340,000 baht

I need 1st Class insurance where I can pick the Garage preferably Honda not not imperative

So what would be a good cost for that and I have to disclose the wife neglected to renew the insurance for 6 months and is telling me the new insurance company is adding a penalty for that which sounds like BS to me

So If I get killed in a Motorcycle my family gets 3 million ?? if so thats not bad even if the medical coverage is not even enough for a minor accident

Just saw a new big sign at Kasikorn for Accident Insurance 2,500 baht for 3 million of coverage for accidents seems like a good deal but of course its all in thai so no real way of understanding on what your getting

if she shut her mouth and had some respect for the law , if she didn't resist and complied with the officers orders, then none of that would have happened.

As for the guy that came up behind the cop, he clearly made a gesture with his hand that could be construed as going for a weapon. I give the office credit for reacting as fast as he did against the possible threat. He immediately holstered his firearm after the guy ran off and the other officers pursued him.
