Hello Ubonjoe... just to confirm if I have understood you correctly....  I have been renewing my daughter's (she is 18 yrs now)  yearly visa (Non-O)   based on my Permanent Residence certificate status in Thailand. Her visa due for renewal again in Feb 2022,  will she still require the 3 Million baht insurance coverage in her case ?    Thank you.

  2. Hello Everyone

I have Thai permanent residence (Blue and Red Books) status in Thailand since 1992.

I have been approached by a US based company that has been trading is various commodities globally. They wish to appoint me as their official "Marketing Representative". to do marketing for their products in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.  However, they do not want to form or establish a company in Thailand.  They will of course pay me a monthly salary + commission in a proper legal manner for which they can issue salary slips etc from their Head office in the US... that will enable me to file my personal income taxes here in Thailand.

In this regard, I have couple of questions as follows :
      1. Will I need a work permit ?   If yes, is it possible to make one based on their US Head office ?
      2. If work permit is not required,  then how do I file my yearly form 91 tax return ?

Any advice in the right direction will be truly appreciated.. thank you
  3. Can someone please share his experience…..
If the house owner goes personally to submit the TM 30 at immigration div 1 in Chaengwattana, how long does it take for them to enter the data in the system ? Can he wait and get the acknowledgment receipt ?
Once I gt the acknowledgment receipt from the owner, can I personally go for my 90 days reporting the same or next day ? Or try to sumbit online ?
Any information on the above will be quite helpful please.
    Thank you

  5. Hi Guys.... any update on the above topic ?  Have they (at Chamchuri) started accepting applications by Post at yet ?     Is reporting online an option?  It never seems to work though...

I too have a BOI visa and my reporting is due next month. I know it is a living hell out there to waste an entire day just report for 90 days.. I use to send documents by post to Chaengwattana but last time they called to inform me that since my visa is from BOI, I'm eligible to report only at Chamchuri.  Just the thought of having to go there again makes me sick in the stomach....

Any update on this will be appreciated.  Thanks....

  6. I have BOI Visa and Work Permit. My 90 days reporting is due next month. I use to send documents by post to Chaeng wattana in the past, but last time they called to inform me that next time they will not accept my application and that I am eligible to report only at Chamchuri Square.  So my question is do I have to go personally to Chamchuri or Is it possible to send documents by registered post for 90 days reporting ?

BTW Online has never worked for me...

Any information on the above shall be appreciated folks.. thankyou.

It appears you sent your report to early. The 23rd was over 15 days before your report date.

They may of not done your report immediacy when they got it. Some offices hold them until a day or 2 before the report date before doing them.

If you put standard postage on the return envelope it might take a couple of weeks to get it.

The immigration website states that you should wait for 30 days after your report date before checking with them.

Save the receipt for mailing your report and print out delivery notice on the post office website to show them if you don't the receipt back.

Thank you very much for your feedback... yes I do have the original postal receipt with me and I have also taken the print out of the

delivery notice from thai postal website.. just in case I do not hear from them within 30 days... but just curious.. does this process actually work ?  I mean have people actually been receiving the acknowledgment (notification slip) by mail from them ?    BTW.. I had sent it to the main office in chaengwattana Imm Div 1 that is...

  8. Hi can any one please let me know how long does it usually take for them to send the notification slip by post ?

I had sent the documents to them by post on 21st Sept and checked online on the  thailandpost.com website. They have indeed received my documents on 23rd Sept but today its already 7th Oct and I still haven't received the notification slip from them by post as yet.  Was just getting a bit worried now....  because the actual due date of the 90 days is tomorrow i.e. 8th Oct.   I even tried calling them by phone

but it is impossible to get thru to anyone...

Any feedback or suggestion I would truly appreciate folks..

    Thanks Navin.
