Last November i posted a message on the following lines and received a number of replies mostly saying i would be fined THB500 and wonder if anyone has any further information on the current situation at Suvarnabhumi airport, this is our position.......
UK passport holders with 2 months tourist visa arrived 13 Jan 2018 : 13:00hrs, checking in Business Class 06:30hrs 14 March 2018 for a flight to Dubai with Emirates, so technically overstaying by 6.5 hrs.
Is the worst case a fine of THB500, could a friendly immigration office wave us through or could there me a more sinister threat ?

We are arriving Bangkok by air from Spain on a two months tourist visa at lunchtime 13 January 2018, this means our visa expires i assume at midnight 13 March 2018 but our flight out to Dubai is 14 March 2018 when we can check in at 06:30am for a 09:30am departure, we are staying overnight in Bangkok so could be at the check in at 06:30am when it opens so technically we would have overstayed by around six and half hours, we can of course obtain a 30 day extension at a cost of THB1900 each but do you think it will be necessary, i should add that we will leave via Fast Track
few hours visa overstay at airport ( BKK )
