Macbook (with US keyboard) and iPads cheaper in Thailand, though accessories more expensive. Camera bodies cheaper, lenses more expensive. Just need to compare product for product to UK.

Lived in Bangsaen 11 years, fun, lively, still "Thai", nice beaches (if you know where to go and depending on time of year). Weekdays, peaceful fishing village vibe, weekends crazy full on happy zone. If I get bored of local vibe, simply visit Bangkok or Pattaya, both are short hop away,. after this nice to return home.

Got it, with Non-O 30 day covid insurance regardless of when extension renewal is. Next thing comes to mind, to get Thailand pass / enter is return ticket needed or not?

Streaming with VPN no problem with BBC iPlayer on MacBook but downloads fail because "DRM License Failed". Rebooting removing and reinstalling iPlayer Downloads app has not solved. Strangely though, iPlayer app on iPad does download.

Oh no. Old online 90 day reporting always worked perfect for me. Only this week did report and approval / next appointment came withim 30 seconds. I kid you not.

My quandary echoes DrJack. Extension re-entry expires Nov 2022, is it possible to fly in with changeable 30 day return ticket / 30 day insurance - but be stamped in based on re-entry until Nov 2022? Or will this 30 day plan invalidate my re-entry permit and I'll be stamped in with VOA?

Myself and wife (non-Thai) entered Thailand visa exempt. I applied for Non-O with 800k in bank, wife applied as my dependant. No problems. We have made multiple extensions since. Rumour mill, if wife is over 50 then maybe she would need her own Non-O visa. Not sure.

Before consulting lawyer, heads up needed. Camp is being built for 30-50 migrant workers next to residential estate. Are there any regulations about where camp can be built (e.g. not adjacent to residential areas)? Particular concerns about health (covid / worker camps), security, sanitation, hygiene, noise, rowdiness and privacy, can these issues be addressed?

It was Chonburi as in Chonburi City, DVLA is along Sukhumvit Road just past Military Circle 14. Picked up license last year. Staff did all paperwork and guided through process, all very local not set up for farang.

In Chonburi turned up with International Driving Licence (car only), only did traffic light and braking test. 60 minutes later walked out with Thai car AND motorbike licenses. No problem.
