  1. Still looking for clear information so I can make my decision to stay or leave the country.  Non O Volunteer visa on many covid extensions, hoping for one more before heading back.  I live up country that has a small immigration office that always waits for orders from Chiang Mai.  Have heard many conflicting ideas and reports and still not sure how to move ahead.  I am from the States and our Embassy will not provide a letter for any type of extension this way.  I really would rather not go fly during this time of nasal swabs, quarantines if positive, and extra stress.  Much appreciated in advance!

  2. Sorry If I missed it in the thread, but is there any new info as of today about Volunteer visa covid extensions?  As of Friday seemed up to the IO's, and in my smaller town they definitely aren't trying to rock the boat and make any decisions by themselves.  I guess it may be time to get a ticket, though i really wanted to wait it out with all of the the stress of testing and mask wearing required for the long trip.    The US Embassy hasn't been very helpful that seems to be around.  My apologies if this has been covered.  Cheers!

  3. I know Gassan Khuntan is a great course and run by super nice people. I will look to see if you can contact the manager directly.  Maybe she can help you contact Legacy and make sure you get the best price.  "Naruemon Pukkat"  if you add her to line app runs Gassan Khuntan, maybe she can get you the best info and price on Gassan Legacy if that is where you want to play.   They are really helpful and nice.  Hope she can help you!

  4. Thanks Tim,

Just didn't seem right while I was in the office and also waited till the final day to get seven more to wait it out.  It did have the feeling of not being reversable though she didn't mention this.  I saw some posts on the topic and the IO just told me that the rule hadn't changed in my favor.  I definitely can travel but with the agro, tests(some faulty), closed land borders a few more months would have been perfect.  Will keep my fingers crossed.  Appreciate your insight, cheers!

  5. Guys get on the Golfdigg app and you can find the best prices.  I live in Central Thailand but anytime I am in the tourist cities or Bkk seems to be the best bet.  Palm Hills usually is a very nice track and usually has some pretty good discounts.

  6. Great advice here on the possible covid extension,  I appreciate it.  Am in the same boat wouldn't mind a trip home, but would all be much easier in a few months.   Would be disheartening to find out they were granted as I am departing for the long flight home.  I have a connection at Chiang Wattana and will see if she has any news in the next day or two.  Cheers!
