  1. Actually "harleyclarkey" is perfectly right (It happened to me when i was teenager and that wasn't one of the most difficult moment of my life (Psychotic break) : But the the only real risk, specially for kids teenagers, young adults in a very very small proportion of them but the risk is real: Is the possibility of a psychotic episode AND triggering of inner-self Schizophrenia ==> THIS SPECIALLY WITH EDIBLES (Cookies, brownies whatever catalyst THC with Fatties and become extremely potent). Kids, teenagers or young adult who would tends to suffer of Schizophrenia unfortunately would become have a psychotic break which would lead to the disease one day or another but a strong amount of THC so as all psychedelics (LSD, Magic Mushrooms psilocybin (psilocin), DMT (Tryptamine's family hallucinogenic drugs ...., " (At the exception in some case of the "Dissociative class such as Ketamine" probably due to it's sedative effect and less affinity with specific serotonin receptor" CAN ALL trigger it and can first manifest by psychotic behavior short episode and in rare cases precipitate Schizophrenia (which again, would happens one day or another). Now that being said : I think legalization of cannabis is the right approach: And by extends i am for the legalization of all drugs : ( The war on Drugs is a mess, a failure, extremely expensive, doesn't prevents people using, it breaks life of people who are mostly sick or auto-medicate a child trauma : Any doctor with knowledge in subtense abuse will explain to you that (except Drugs traffickers, cartels , mafia) people who suffers from addition are sick people and put them to jail is not the way to help / treat them : You would not put your friend who suffered from depression to Jail right ? ) Categorizing the drugs is the first mistake of our governments and mistake of many people who will tell you that because "it's a plant , it's natural, so it's not dangerous or have only benefits.... " vs pharmaceutical or synthetic drugs ==> It's also stupid : All these drugs are molécules (existing in the nature or created in a lab) and each people reacts differently. Take our dear alcool which is culturally excused but according to all hospital admissions : is responsible for most case of domestic violence (including on kids), street violence and agressive behaviors. But not every people become this way when they are drinking. Anyhow Alcohol with Tobacco (not Nicotine which is a stimulant not carcinogenic) : ARE THE TOW DRUGS PROBABLY THE MOST TOXIC FOR YOUR BODDY (WAY more than Amphetamines, MDMA, or all psychedelic drugs) Criminalize one drug or a class of drugs strongly wont solve the problem : People with affinity to a class of drugs and suffering from mental illness or prone to addiction will fall into it anyway. Letting the business to traffickers and in the street is just way more dangerous as there is zero quality control , and cartels and mafia continue to extend their power and corrupts police and other officials at higher levels. Strongly addicted people not matter what the substance , like "your poor alcoholic buddy we all know or met once in our life" are sick people who need medical treatment and psychotherapy. But trow them in jail and break their professional life and life in general (link with their friends and family) is a non-sense and is way more expensive to support for the societies. Thailand is a model in Asian country to have taken such approach with Marijuana, Kratom and i hope other drugs will follow. And to get back to original poster subject (level of THC DOES MATTER AS EVALUATION OF USERS , AND MINIMUM AGE OF THC CONSUMPTION). CBD is fine and can even be given to children to treat such disease not recreationally.
