Ah, I see now. Had to get out the laptop to work it correctly, the site doesn't play nice with mobile. Also important to note, PM2.5 data is ONLY available for the Sri Phum station. The Chang Phueak station doesn't provide that option.
PM2.5 concentration data is available for station 35t or 36t (Chiangmai).Where are you finding PM2.5 data? All I can find is PM10. All I have to go by is my experience with Singapore's smoky season, but I can tell by sight alone that the AQI is much higher than 101. I live very close to Doi Suthep by the convention center, and can barely see its silhouette from my balcony!
Generally, Singapore haze would look worse than the haze in CM at the same concentration, due to significantly higher relative humidity levels.
The RH vauses the smoke particles to expand or something like that, bringing a further loss in visibility. Was reported in the SG newspapers.

Don't be fooled by the PM10 AQI of just 101 right now,
Doi suthep is completely gone from view and the PM2.5 AQI is 182!!

Velocity (Huay Gaew near Nat Motors) will definitely have what you're looking for. If not, the shop on the inner NE corner of the moat has a large selection. Not sure of the name, there's a large LA Bike sign, but in Thai it says ซังจักรยาน (Sang Jakkayan) but I think people also call it Chaitawit? Whatever it's called, the staff has always been nice, and even let me exchange some tires/tubes when I learned (the hard way) that 26" wheels come in a variety of flavors (standard, French, etc).
Sports World at KSK might have what you need if all else fails.

Actually, I'm surprised that it hasn't happened, multiple times, already.
You know where is Nong Ho intersection ? Is it in the city ?
I believe Nong Ho is the corner of Canal and the covention center road.

I've heard that as well. Chrome also stopped supporting a certain protocol awhile ago that makes things more difficult (NAPI or something like that ?). We couldn't log into secure servers using Chrome so would have to fire up IE (or FireFox) so we could use WebAccess and similar functions.
Not sure if that is why the Immigration site is so difficult though.
No luck in Firefox, Chrome or the new Edge (IE for W10) browser. Tab always freezes. Also, gives security certificate error upon page load.

Hi All,
What is the URL to do it online?
Thanks NS

I've not had much luck in filling the form. The site is painfully slow in ways I've never experienced before. Each character I input takes many moments to register, then freezes the tab I'm in. It took nearly 1/2 hr to fill it all out, and then it said I got the captcha wrong, even though it clearly matched (must've been a timeout or something).
The next try I had at it, I copy/pasted my info from a notepad doc to avoid the agonizing wait after each character entry - unfortunately, it still happened. I eventually gave up and will be going to IMMI next week.
Anyone know which immigration office in Chiang Mai to go for 90 day reporting if on ED visa? I did my extension of stay at airport, but I think 90 day reports are at Promenada?

The wife and I stock up at the Royal Project Shop (Suthep Road just off the Canal Road) once or twice a month- the selection is pretty decent, and everything is fresh as can be.
that would be Doi Kham. no one would have a clue what you meant if you asked for Royal Project shop.
I believe Flare is referring to the smaller Royal Project on the CMU campus near CMU Steak and Coffee, not the location near Doi Kham.

I attend a language program at a large university in the north. Went in for my first 90 day extension and they gave me a stamp good til end of June 2016! This makes my valid stay 13 months. I was amazed considering the number of negative stories being passed around. Pays to attend a real university and not some small language school. Interestingly, we only have class twice a week (I'd prefer it to be more frequent but oh well).

Has anyone had luck with these guys?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.TaxiKingdom.TaxiMobile.Customer
I used it once, since they claimed to have metered taxis. After booking via the app, I receive a phone call 15mins later to negotiate a fare. We agree on 250฿ for a 10km trip. When the taxi arrives there is clearly no meter, despite "Meter Taxi" being stenciled on the exterior.
Upon (re)reading the app instructions, it appears the metering is to be done within the app, which conveniently resets itself when dispatch calls to negotiate a fare.
Any experiences with this or similar services? Looking for a reliable transport solution for when I'm too hosed to drive or have to take the bike to the shop. I live in the NW part of CM near Nongfluk Restaraunt (Convention Center) so there's rarely any songthaew or tuks passing, even on Canal Rd.

Aussie bicyclist fined over reckless Doi Suthep ride
in Chiang Mai News
I rode the STP in one day as well... on a track bike, all carrying our own bags with clothes/tools. The days following were very painful.
