  1. I have a complete diffrent experience then police arresting people, I read about. I live at Koh Samui, some part of the year, and drinking and driving is something that many 1000 persons do every night. No one has not even heard of police having a control during night times. Even when you see police at night, they never stop anyone for this. So, 90% of everybody (that drink and are going out at the same time) also drive. This is only me thinking this and I don't know how many they are.

At daytime you can se a police control in the street, when they wave in diffrent drivers. But I heard that they only take local Thai people and never turists in those controls. I only seen it a couple of times and they let me pass. But at night there is not any arrests. It can go 4-5 weeks without me seeing a police at all, last time the first I saw was after 6 weeks and it was 2 policemen on the same bike...

I don't drink and drive and whould love to se the police arresting people because I never ride my bike during night time, even when not drinking, as there are so many crazy people and really dangerous situations for me, that I only drive during the day. Thank god the isle is flodded with taxi, in diffrent forms as in bike, cars, so there is no problem getting home. But just knowing that no one will be stopped, makes people to drink and drive.

P.S. Sorry for my bad spelling...

  2. I'm sure it could even hit 2000+ without voiding the warranty. You can do it at any Honda dealer.

I read in another forum that it's important to change the oil and oil filter at 1000. The reason, said without any knowledge of these things, was that some small metal fragment comes of the cylinders (or some other part) inside the motor from beeing new, and that they get stuck in the filter. He wrote this was very important not to wait with doing that....

As I said, I don't know anything about this but it was not only one comment from a crackhead in a forum, I just remember info about doing it and not all the rest..

  3. It's strange no one talk about riding position and/or if a streetbike or scooter as in design is better to have a collition with. If it's a car, maybe it don't care at all, but let's say one of those stupid dogs runs out in front of you?

When it comes to design as in weight and brakes, let's say I drive a Honda Forza 300cc. The weight is 199 kg (438 pounds), top speed around 90 mph and has both ABS and CBS brakes (one front brake piston activates when breaking the rear brake). So talking about bad brakes, low speed and other factors do not neccesery has to be so diffrent.

And can we please not talk about diffrent drivers, experience and how they drive and just think of it like one normal guy who rides in Thailand and drive both models...
