He comes from a very influential family that will have ties at the very top, of course he wouldn't have gone to jail, the family of the deceased policeman would have received a substantial pay out in exchange for not pushing for Boss to be prosecuted. The Family have been satisfied, a Billionaire has paid out some money, it's the way things are. If a Farang had been in the same position as Boss and had the means to pay the family off and whoever else they needed to pay to avoid prosecution, they would have done the same. Of course, ThaiVisa's Billionaire members would have refused to pay and got life in jail, because they believe in doing the right thing, haha, right, of course they would..................

Would 1000's of Farangs still be choosing to live here and to not go back to their own countries. Answer = Yes I'm talking about Farangs who have a choice, not those who have run out of money or living on a dwindling pension, have to leave because they know that if they get a serious illness they wouldn't have no means to pay for hospital treatment, they don't count, they don't have a choice. I don't know anyone not one person who had ample funds who decided to leave Thailand and go back to the U.K., strange that on anonymous Internet forums they are there to be found, I don't believe them, but I guess those that want to believe, will believe, but I have been here a very long time, and only those with no choice have gone back to drab and dreary U.K., some ended up in a Thai jail taking risks just to be able to stay, others ran out of friends and favors when the " I'm getting money sent over soon, can you lend me some till then" ceased to get results. Friendless and potless, they blamed Thailand and Thai people for every mistake they had made, when in reality it wasn't Thailand that they hated, it was themselves they hated, hated themselves for the terrible decisions they made that had landed themselves in the mess they were in.

He's a good guy in real life and only negative stories that are cherrypicked to generate hits are bandied about on social media platforms. If you people met him in real life, you'd be falling over yourselves to praise him and adorn him with compliments to curry favor. He's a good guy in reality and you shouldn't be so quick to pour scorn on everything he does, it's not easy to be in his position.

Had a bunch of Royal Marines used to go to my mates bar in Soi 6, I have witnessed their drinking games, unbelievable, glass of Pish, sh'it sandwich, great guys, used to drag me along with them, somehow I felt safe from other drunks, 13 of them, and as you say, Absolute legends. Men in general never grow up when they are amongst each other, even on Internet forums, any thread like this one for example will get the schoolboy humor. Went to shops today, on the way back I went down Naklua Soi 18, a group of 5/6 looked like Russians walking towards Naklua Road, nobody wore a Mask, another Farang walking alone, no mask, further a couple, no masks, Near Centara 3/4 people, no masks, towards Tops, 3 people, no masks, Towards 7Eleven 1 Farang, mask on chin. Bar closures are imminent.

Don't worry guy's, the Governor of Chonburi will order the closure of all bars and will be restaurant take away service only for genuine restaurants. What other option does he have ? Do you in your wildest dreams believe that plainclothesmen do not report what the situation is in places like Pattaya, the lack of rules being followed etc. By the end of the week it will be announced IMO.
