Tomorrow day 13 Koh Tao murder trial. Final prosecution witness is Somsak Norud, main police investigator, Koh Phangan police station.
Be interesting to see how this finally plays out, there seems to have been so many 'main police investigators'

The posing with the hoe like implements by those sickos is In my guess predictable and shows some people view life and more than that farang life. However why the posing with the guns or is there something in this gun shot wound suggestion? Don't know maybe there just showing how big a gangster there are when they have a gun and lots of mates around.!how do you think they would stand up to this gang??
Incidentally some of these British Royal Marines will probably same age or younger than the B2
Keep posting them pictures please....

Another one of my favorite regular posts here is "My Wife(brother sister, friend, or cousin) is Thai and she thinks the 2 accused didn't do these crimes.
What makes you think for even one second that these people are privy to certain information that we don't have? They are subject to the same Social Media Networks, just like most of you, but this time in Thai. Also where all these Spin Doctors creating doubt through false information to cast a Web to catch Fools in it.
Most Thais I know are much more concerned with Rice and Rubber Prices then they are with some Murder in Tim-Buck-To involving Farangs. ,
Well let me do the same ... unlike on this forum, every Thai friend I know who believed in a cover-up no longer does and are now able to admit they are just angry at the police corruption and those in power being able to get away with things. They thought this was going to be a case that showed the world their corruption. I actually understand their frustration and anger and don't deny their reasons but at least they calmed down and realized this isn't likely an example of these things. No different in the US were those with money and/or power have a different set of justice and where police shoot and kill unarmed blacks at an alarming rate but it doesn't mean every shooting is bad despite some people wanting to believe this and even trying to make every shooting into criminal case. But again, understand the feeling of many inner city people as they have had enough but they lose credibility when they take every shooting and try to turn it into a cop being a cold blooded murder.
you two are so funny

For those wondering what's going on. Seems it's adjourned at 10 ish this morning till August
From Andy Hall Twitter
Koh Tao trial now adjourned until session three 18th to 21st August, another 4 days of prosecution police crime scene/forensics witnesses
10:08am - 24 Jul 15
Thanks for the info I wasn't aware it had finished early.
Considering how this trial is under a time constraint it's a bit odd to be taking half days. Maybe the judges have planned a big weekend and needed to get their affairs in order.
Think it finished around 4pm Thai time......

As Thailandchilli indicated, the defence team including Andy Hall are working for free in this case (pro bono).
I've read near all posts in this thread and I haven't come across one that has made mention of a personal donation to help support this case.
I've just had communications with Andy Hall and made a donation.
As I understand he, as with the defence team, are engaging in this case with every effort and resource available.
The British FCO are wishing for a fair and transparent trial but are prevented from having direct input. Therefore, we have a chance to provide assistance.
Irrespective of your views in this case, it is possible to have a direct effect on fairness and transparency.
Impartiality is questionable as evidenced thus far. Financial support for the defence is required. Would it not be satisfying to know you may just help bring fairness to this case.
Give it some thought.
Yes, I made a small donation initially. Put my money where my mouth is - i.e. supporting the B2's defence.
If it's not bad enough that some on here are questioning the integrity of Andy Hall, now we are being accused of not contributing to the defence fund if we believe the B2 to be innocent. Well I HAVE, but you won't find my name on the list of donors as I chose to remain anonymous. I believe giving money in this way is a private and personal matter and it should remain so. I imagine there are other posters on ThaiVisa who have donated but they don't wish to broadcast the fact.
Well said madame, agree it is a personal matter and more so i find it appalling that people question the integrity of Andy Hall, certainly a man with a passion for Human Rights and should be applauded accordingly.

David Miller's Missing Mobile Phone.
interesting wording from same article "“None of the witness testimonies included anything that could implicate [Win Zaw Htun and Zaw Lin] as the murderers. It’s starting to appear that it wasn’t them,” said Moe Wai"
Cool. I am glad you are happy with my Links.
Trying to be neutral here, in all fairness you do actually pull up some good articles at times, credit were credit is due.

"Police say both men then took turns raping Hannah while alternately smoking. Then Wyn allegedly smashed her head repeatedly with the same hoe which he threw away. It was found next morning."

you missed "Tonight the Burmese community on Koh Tao claimed three close friends of the suspects were beaten and tortured by Thai police to implicate Saw, Wyn and third man Mau"
your selective cherry picking speaks volumes...

So you say the prosecution has about 62 witnesses to call. 62 witnesses ! Was there a grandstand set up next to the beach ? I actually do understand what you are trying to say, but please choose your words more carefully otherwise you'll lose the debate on just technicalities rather than facts.
I think people like police pathologists, crime scene experts etc might be included in the number could be wrong though
good chance you could be wrong, from what i have seen from your current posts...but i could be wrong, always good to add that little caveat at the end
