Hello,
Can Thai people go to Laos (during few days) without passport, but only with a ID card ?
Thank you.

Yes,
You can get a visa Non Immigrant O to visit your kid.
90 days visa + 60 days extension.
1 or multiple entries.
It can be 1 year in case you are the legal father.

I think it is the receipt that we get after filling the form TM30.
As I got the receipt (TM30) just after filling the form, then I thought it dealed with another receipt.
If so, I am sorry for the noise.

Hello,
At the entry of Immigration Office in Chiang Mai ( near the airport), I can read :
"Before extension your visa at Chisng Mai Immigration ..... contact Investigation Office to get a receipt of notification for your visa."
I don't understand "a receipt of notification for your visa".
What is that ?
My question looks stupid, but does it mean that I can extend a visa (Non O) before getting that "receipt" ?
(They also ask about that the TM30, that is done).
Thank you.

Hello,
Nowadays, to get an extension to a visa Non-immigrant O (Thai child), do I have to go to Promenada, or it is still at the Immigration office near the airport ?
Thank you.

Hello,
That is the first time I have heard of the TM30.
I live in the house of my son's mother. She is the owner of the house.
My visa is a Non-immigrant O (visit my son, fatherhood not legitimized yet, not married)
We live in Chiang Mai.
1. Where to give the form TM30 ?
At the old Immigration office near the airport ? Or at Promenada ?
2. Is it a fast procedure ? Or does it needs to enter in a queue and wait for hours same as when we resquest an extension of visa ?
3. Actually, is there any problem if the procedure is done 1 week after arriving in Thailand ?
Thank you !
And cheers.

Thank you Joe.
I have got 2 times a 60 days extension. Fortunately, my son didn't have to be with me to get the extension.
Thank you for the informations and the link.
I have already got 3 non-immigrant O visa and 2 extensions. Now it will the third extension.
Is there a limit to get non-immigrant O visa and extension ?

Hello Joe,
And thank your for you answers.
My fatherhood is not legitimized yet (not married), then I don't need the financial proof.
It is a good news that the dress code has not changed.
If someone else could confirm, it would be great.

Hello,
I have to go to the immigration office in Chiang Mai to extend my visa non-immigrant O (thai kid, not married).
I have 3 questions :
1. In which office do I have to go ? Old office near the airport or in the department store Promenada ?
2. If I have to go to the new office, what time does it need to come for the queue ?
3. Few weeks ago, I read a post about the fact that people (foreigners) would have to wear a long pant and shoes (not short pant, neither sandal) to go into the Immigration office.
Finally, do we have really to do that ? Would they refuse me to go into the office and extend the visa if I go with a short pant and sandal ?
It may be not a big deal, but then I would have to buy them, and I dislike to wear that.
Thank you for your answers.

Hello,
Tomorrow, I have to extend my visa non immigrant O (for visiting kid, I am not married). In Chiang Mai.
The new immigration office has just opened.
Where I have to go, to the old office or the new immigration office ?
Thank you very much.
Hire Legally A Foreign Nanny
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted · Edited by frog555
I have found this information ;
The easiest criteria to meet, is someone must be paying 50,000 baht personal income tax per year. This 'someone" can be a foreigner with a work permit or a Thai national. This foreigner or Thai does not need to have a company. For every 50,000 tax paid per year, up to three people can be employed. Example: you paid 200,000 baht in tax last year you can employ three foreigners.
Proof of this income is the last three months of Phor Ngor Dor.1 (Personal Income tax form filed on a monthly basis) and Phor Ngor Dor.91 ( Filed on a yearly basis in March) If you do not have a Phor Ngor Dor.91 because you have not been working in Thailand, this is not a problem. However you must have the last three months of Phor Ngor Dor.1 (Personal Income tax form filed on a monthly basis)
