I watched season one on Hulu in the US and enjoyed it.  I mentioned the show to a friend in Canberra and he said he never heard of it...

When renting a condo in Bangkok, do you get a better rental price by going through an agent from a website (e.g. Hipflat) or by going to the condo office and talking to that person?

Thanks for the reply.  I did some research on the forum and I found an 800 number in the US.  It seems the number just rings and never gets answered.  Other people have said they have had the same experience, but have gotten through to other international offices (like Paris or London).  I will try that.

Does anyone know if Thai Airways has an office, and more importantly, a phone number in the United States?

Failing that, what are the chances that I can get an English speaking customer service person if I have to contact the BKK office?

When I signed up for Project Fi, I got the Nexus 5X. Sorry if my previous post was misleading.

I had just returned to US from LOS and I was asking about the Caller ID situation as I don't want people to necessarily know where I am.

I purchased a Nexus 5 a few months ago and am pretty happy with Project Fi. I don't use data so the cost averages to be about 26 USD a month with taxes and fees.

I like the idea of a global phone so that is why I switched from Virgin Mobile.

I am curious whether calls (or texts) to the US via Project Fi appear on receiver's caller ID any differently that it would appear if I were calling from the US.

When traveling in BKK, I saw a fair number of coffee carts out on the street with people lined up in the morning.

I have haven't noticed any in Pattaya...are there any around?

I have run along Beach Road in Pattaya and having been to Jomtiem once, I would guess that would be a decent place to run on the sand. Are there other good places to run around Pattaya?

Just got done with Fargo Season 2 off of Netflix (USA). I enjoyed it as much as Season 1.
