You are welcome. Yes, I have copied all the pages. You prepare all you have and they take what they need
If possible when you pick-up your visa tomorrow, could you ask if they'll accept proof of income?

Took a flight to a nearby country and spent a few days there. Upon my return at Suvarnabhumi the IO asked why I hadn't done an extension and then what my 'O' visa is based on (marriage). I also presented my work permit, and after asking something to the IO at the adjacent counter I was given the 90 day stamp.
Is this considered abusing the system in any way? Why is this type of visa offered if it's considered a problem?
EDIT: Just to be clear, I have a Non-immigrant Multiple Entry 'O' Visa valid for one year.

I've found forms which say Vientiane and Savannakhet.
Is it important to use a specific form? I am planning to cross and the Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge #3 into Thakhek but haven't seen a printable form online for this particular crossing. I'd like to have it done ahead of time.

You've helped me and so many others.
We have lost an invaluable member of the community.
Thanks for everything, Joe.

Despite what I said then I've now reverted back to Win 10. I'm working all day with music & image files, lots of cutting, pasting, renaming and resizing, all these functions I found more tedious on Win 11. Everything I want to do works very well with Win 10, at first I thought Win 11 was faster, but now using Win 10 again I haven't noticed any difference.
Have you considered learning bash or powershell? I'm doing a lot of copy and pasting of files and folders for my work as well. Some simple commands have saved me loads of time.

Why would you not do ground transport from Nakhon Phanom airport to the bridge in Mukdahan?
I couldn’t find any info on this either. Do they have busses or vans at the airport that go to Mukdahan?
-
Flights to Savannakhet are an absurd ~20k THB roundtrip around the time my visa expires. I don't mind taking the night bus, but flying to Nakhon Phanom is only an hour or so, and from Thakhek to Savannakhet it should only take 2 hours driving.
My issue: I can't find much info on transportation between the two cities though. Anyone have details on taxis, buses, etc.? Is this idea more hassle than it's worth?
Thanks in advance.

No issues. Runs better than Windows 10 on my desktop and laptop.

The last line of the Thai notes is the one that get most worked up.
- All copies of documents must be certified true copies.
So they just need to be signed or do they want something else now?

I wrote about this two postings ago. If something is not clear there or missing please let me know what it is. The registration is not difficult. The most difficult part is to find the longitude and latitude of your location.
My bad the way it was written I assumed it was just for checking service availability. Thanks for the info. I will give this a go.

Can you provide some detail on the registration process? Was it difficult?

If married to or the parent of a Thai you can work and have a work permit with a non-o visa or a one year extension of stay.
My visa would be based on marriage. In that case would I have to cancel my work permit regardless?
-
Does it remain valid? Also, is it possible to keep a work permit valid for one year on a Non Immi Multi 'O'?

Same ol' story, same ol' song and dance. There may be an official rule, but doesn't mean every office and officer is privy and/or onboard. As usual...Totally depends on the provincial office and then left up to interpretation by whichever officer one deals with on any given day. The rules are...there ain't no consistent rules.
This was Chaeng Wattana where they usually follow the officially published rules, and it looks to me I wasn't the only one being asked for the TM30.

BTW when you say that you were asked by immigration officer....I assume you are not referring to those document check chicks just at entry to all the desk areas.
Nope. They glanced at my passport, gave me a queue and sent me on my way.

So it appears that you have an extension from a non O.
Also you have a reentry permit and did not change address.
You should not have been asked to provide a TM30 and certainly not at CW.
I'm starting to wonder if they're changing things again.
There was an animation playing on the TVs in the TM90 area on repeat. It showed a property manager who decided not to file the TM30 and the foreigners she rented to bombed some house.. the police had trouble locating them because she failed to do so.
A different officer also asked another to show their TM30 and I saw a couple frustrated because they didn't have something but I couldn't make out what.

The TM30 rules were changed in June of 2020.
It is not required if traveling within the country.
If entering the country with a re-entry permit or a multiple entry visa it is not required.
I'm on a non-immigrant O visa. Came back in with a re-entry permit roughly 90 days ago. If that's the case why did the officer ask about it? I haven't changed my place of residence in years.

Your title mentions agent. Your post does not. I am confused. "Agent asked me during 90 day report" What agent? Little more context would help.
Sorry that should've been officer.

I'm very confused regarding the TM30 report.
3 years ago I had to pay a fine during my visa extension for not having one done. Since then it hasn't been mentioned or asked about during my trips to immigration.
Are they just trying to enforce it now that COVID regulations have eased? Is it required every time I return home from staying somewhere else?

Forgive me if these are stupid questions, but is there any advantage from buying a sim from AIS (or Airalo) over getting one on arrival (in my case in the UK)? When I've previously got one from such as Carphone Warehouse you get a local phone number. With the AIS sim what number can people call you on? What will calls to you cost them? I use a Dtac prepay here in Thailand, I see that they have a 'Go Travel' package 15GB for 30 days for 1176Baht, which would be all I need.
For me the advantage is not having to mess with getting a SIM card. I also don't have to inform family and friends of a new # as I already have one with Google Voice.
There are a few prepaid providers offering eSIMs within the US now. Everything is setup through their app. Maybe there's a UK provider or two offering something similar? With these country specific providers, or at least in the US, they also provide a local # for calling and texts.

If your phone supports eSIM, download Airalo. No need to swap SIMs just make sure you set your phone to use cellular data through the Aussie "sim".

Do I need CoE approved insurance if I'm currently living in Thailand but plan to leave and come back? Non-O Visa based on marriage.
I currently have insurance through Aetna though I would need to up the policy to meet the ~3 mil requirement. Is that sufficient?
savannakhet now require bank statement (400k) for 1 year multi visa (non-O marriage or Thai family)
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

I have a work permit and bring in over 40k a month. Would a statement for the last year and my work permit suffice for a multi-O?
