Right, she's usually very affordable but 100K seems like taking the <deleted>.

It's a private limited company.

We have a business here that is now dormant and which we wish to close down. It's free of any liabilities. Can anyone advise how much it costs to do this? An agent we've used before quoted us 100,000THB which seems somewhat exorbitant to me.
If anyone has done this recently & has any advice/contacts, please share. Cheers!

Use Grab app - LOADS of Grab drivers there, cheaper than taxis and far less likely to try & scam you.

Lived in Saigon for 10 years until moving to BKK in 2012. Great place to work & do business, not so nice a place to live. The people are friendlier but less polite than the Thais. A LOT of noise & antisocial behaviour, with people doing karaoke til 3am & building work 24 hours a day. Much, much noisier than Bangkok, and the traffic is far worse. Burglary & petty crime are much bigger issues there too.
But it's a fun place, food/beer a lot cheaper, the girls are great and it has an edge to it that Thailand doesn't have.
Wealthier expats tend to live in D2/Thao Dien district near the river. But there are condo buildings springing up all over now - rents generally comparable to Bangkok though build quality isn't usually as good and balconies are rare, and landlords can be very dodgy indeed.
I have friends who've left HCMC for Danang and speak very highly of it; personally I'd avoid Hanoi - nice for a visit but it's even noisier than Saigon and the damp weather, especially in winter, is a drag.

At the game last night ...
were there any bad calls by the umpires?
any more than usual ? just wondering if there were things to set them off...
Not really, wasn't a particularly controversial game. 1-1 draw which meant MT beat us 3-2 on aggregate to go to the League Cup final. Just the fact that MT & Port have a lot of previous "history" and there were fans on both sides looking for trouble from the start. It's also a horrible place to watch football, a crappy corrugated iron stadium surrounded by flyovers, ditches & industrial wasteland, all of it conducive to those who want a ruck. And as I said, I've never encountered such hostile, unfriendly supporters anywhere in Thailand. Normally enjoy going to away games & having a laugh with the locals, but that was never a possibility last night.

Football is an outlet for many people, a way of working off a bit of anger or frustration. There aren't many other opportunities in life to stand around shouting & singing your head off in public. But some people take it a bit too far. But I have to say I've met the nicest people I know in Thailand - locals and farangs - at football.

I was at the game last night, in the away end. Followed Port to many away games and we always get a warm welcome, but the atmosphere at MT last night was very hostile & unpleasant. They may be the wealthiest club in the country, but money can't buy class it seems.

Just applying for a Japan visa for my wife & seems they need her to have a reentry before we apply. Do I need to go to CW to do this or can I do it at any immigration office in Bangkok?

Just got my new BBL Mastercard debit. Does anyone know how it works online, given that there's no name on the card?
