  1. 'next to the toilet with his underpants around his knees.' & ' fell and died while relieving himself. '

Do they really need to be so discriptive in writing the article .......... !! blink.png

I would have thought him being a swiss banker would raise a red flag with the BIB .... ... poor wife was outside when he fell ......

exactly . and why would they need to publish a picture as well, even tho its pixed out ,

  2. They will also put up new signs along the beach stating what the rules and regulations are. If these are not followed, the beach will be declared a natural or virgin beach.______ would that mean only virgins would be allowed on the beach ? if that is the case they will need virgin inspectors, clap2.gifcheesy.gif

I could do that job though as a pensioner I may not be able to afford to buy the position or the salary.

The perks would be worth it though.

you will have to have a work permit first , and you may have to do a job training course to prove you " are up 2 it"

  3. I wonder what the real reason is that so many young thais loose their kool so quickly over the most minor of situations. Not just because of this particular story but I have seen it myself personally , I have come to realise never to put myself in a confronting situation with thai people, they just cant seem to be able to reason things out in a calm manner without becoming aggressive and hostile.I have copped a few emotional outbursts in the past , one thing for sure is "YOU WILL NEVER WIN AN ARGUEMENT WITH A THAI"

I bet their are many other foreigners who have seen the error in trying to have a sensible and reasonable disagreement with their thai wife, g/f ,b/f without it ending in world war 3,. coffee1.gifsad.png

Guess you meet the wrong people and are scared of your own shadow. Your name is appropriate though in this topic.

Not all Thais are the same and not all loose their cool. I can honestly say I have lost my cool more then my ex (and I seldom get angry)

ROBBLOK __ pity you had not understood what I had posted before you entered your sarcastic comment towards me stating I meet the wrong people am scared of my own shadow ,, I suggest you read the opening first 12 words again____ ( I wonder what the real reason is that "SO MANY YOUNG THAIS" ) __- the word MANY does not mean all thais> . but it does mean all of the hot headed ones that cannot control their temper and go around murdering and doing harm to people over the slightest thing , just like these 2 have done, ____ ok I hope I have made my self clear , sure you can disagree but is it really necessary to cast demeaning comments towards others ? just because you don't agree with what they say

  5. I say good on this bloke. If he wants to sweep the road, let him sweep the road. He isn't doing anyone any harm.

Some fellas like to go to the bar, others to the beach, some to the gym. This guy likes road sweeping.

Let's face it, there are worse things he could be doing.

Let's hope some of the Thai people who see him are inspired to take as much pride in their local area as this farang does!

    I agree with you 100%

  6. his comment that he does not want to see anyone hurt in accident from the stones and dirt, but after watching the video its a wonder he don't get run over himself or cause an accident judging by the amount of traffic about, we all know that most riders and drivers here don't pay much attention especially when they texting or talking on the phone at the same time as driving/riding. coffee1.gif

  7. this really is getting too much, just about every day now we read one of these stories involving these buses, something has to be done and done quickly no more stuffing around , so many young lives being lost needlessly. I recall reading just a couple of weeks ago that the government had instructed these buses were to be examined and certified in respect of their stability. all we get is excuses about brakes failing or some other lame excuse being put forward . it is absolutely evident even to everyone that on just about every occasion when a bus crashes that the fault is entirely due to driver error , over tired, or stoned off their face. DOESN'T ANYONE IN AUTHORITY IN THIS COUNTRY HAVE THE GUTS TO DO SOMETHING POSITIVE TO STOP THIS CARNAGE, accidents happen in every country certainly but definitely not to the same extent as is happening here
