Can i apply for the residence permit from Thailand?

Or do i need to go to Ireland and apply there for the residence permit?

Hi there,

I'm a British citizen living and working in Koh Samui for nearly 3 years.

But right now me and my partner are thinking moving to Ireland (Ireland because my mother and my sister live and work there).

We would like my partner to be able to work and live together with me in Ireland.

The only thing is that currently we are not married. Which brings me to my first question;

Do you think it will be better for us to get married in Thailand or in Ireland? Which of these will make the visa process easier?
