I went to Revenue Department at Jomtien and they didn't want to issue it because I have a non-O retirement visa

and no income in Thailand.

Thus,I am trying to get around the problem.

 I have opened an account at Bangkok Bank,it appears only my name on the book.

But I signed a proxy for my Thai wife, registered by the bank.

She can withdraw money without my presence, she made the test and it works.

I would like to open a fixed bank account ( for extension of stay) but Kasikorn bank doesn't allow a proxy for my Thai wife (in case something happens to me).

Does anyone know a Thai bank that accepts a proxy with a fixed bank account ?

I have an extension of stay of 365 days (retirement visa), and T.M 30 stapled in my passport.

I am going abroad 15 days, I did my re-entry.

When I come back to Thailand, do I have to go to Jomtien immigration to fill a new T.M 30 to notify my address again (I am always at the same address).

In 2 months, I have received around 30 SMS, charged 5 Baht per message.

I went to DTAC shop at Big C South Pattaya to complain, the staff dialed on my phone *137 and told me that I will not received anymore annoying SMS.

3 days later, SMS again and yesterday one SMS charged 10 Baht.

I decided to stop my prepaid DTAC and went to True at Tesco Thepprasit.

True kept the same number and now it's working.

Bye bye DTAC.

Yes,it's compulsory in Jomtien. I did it 14 days ago, I am on retirement visa, married from 22 years, living in the house of my wife.

Fill the T.M 30 and you will get a receipt of notification to staple in your passport,

If you don't do and one day you have to go to immigration for 90 days, re-entry,extension  of stay,etc,  immigration will check if you did the T.M 30.

If not, fine from 800 baht to 4000 baht

No. You can stay in or out of the country for as long as you want within the year. If you leave you need a re-entry permit to keep the extension alive for when you return.
