  1. Hi mran66,

My problem is that my French bank is asking a Thai tax ID.

I went to Revenue Department at Jomtien and they didn't want to issue it because I have a non-O retirement visa

    and no income in Thailand.

Thus,I am trying to get around the problem.

  2. Hi everyone,

I would like to know if I can request to the Revenue Department of Jomtien the refund of the 15% taxes withdrawed on my savings account every months of June and December.

I have a non-O retirement visa and I stay more than 183 days per year in Thailand.

    Thanks

  3. Hi,

I would like to sell a condo (in my name) that I bought 20 years ago.

The registered value by Chonburi Land Office is 1.400.000 Baht.

What amount would I have to pay ( I don't want to share it with the buyer) ?

    Thanks

  4. Hi,

I have an extension of stay of 365 days (retirement visa), and T.M 30 stapled in my passport.

I am going abroad 15 days, I did my re-entry.

When I come back to Thailand, do I have to go to Jomtien immigration to fill a new T.M 30 to notify my address again (I am always at the same address).

    Thanks

"I have had the same problem with True. The first month nothing, then I was getting up to 10 messages a day all taking 5 baht at a time. But thankfully after calling them and telling them to cancel the number its down to 2 or 3 a week."

I will check with True and hope not receive anymoreSMS

  6. In 2 months, I have received around 30 SMS, charged 5 Baht per message.

I went to DTAC shop at Big C South Pattaya to complain, the staff dialed on my phone *137 and told me that I will not received anymore annoying SMS.

3 days later, SMS again and yesterday one SMS charged 10 Baht.

I decided to stop my prepaid DTAC and went to True at Tesco Thepprasit.

True kept the same number and now it's working.

    Bye bye DTAC.

  7. Yes,it's compulsory in Jomtien. I did it 14 days ago, I am on retirement visa, married from 22 years, living in the house of my wife.

Fill the T.M 30 and you will get a receipt of notification to staple in your passport,

If you don't do and one day you have to go to immigration for 90 days, re-entry,extension  of stay, etc,  immigration will check if you did the T.M 30.

If not, fine from 800 baht to 4000 baht
