Hi all,
has anyone travelled with Qatar, Emirates, Etihad to bangkok or has everyone used Thai Airways,
Based in Ireland so 3 ME airlines would be a better option at the moment

is it possible for anyone who has received the list of ASQ hotels to be able to send onto myself?
-
Hi All,
i am in process of applying for Non-O Visa before i apply for COE.
i have been looking at ASQ's in Bangkok,
it is a 14 day quarantine, so why is it deals on websites is for 15 nights/16 days.
then some of packages you see after 7 days allowed to use fitness facilities etc, defeats purpose of quarantine.

thanks for the info elviajero
-
He cannot explain further because he does not know your nationality.
as i said in the post im from Ireland
-
You are not entitled to a VOA.
What you can get is a Visa Exempt Entry.
Hi Eclipse,
can you explain further please
-
Hi all,
I am looking for some info on visa run for VOA,
I am currently on my last entry on TV, must leave by monday,
so i wish to come back in on a VOA.
my partner is heading to Chiang Mai this weekend so i was looking into Mae Sai
immigration. I am from Ireland,
firstly do i need Visa for Myanmar ?
secondly getting VOA straight after TV expires will there be issues do you think?
I have second passport so if i get exit stamp from Thailand, then use second Passport for either Myanmar (if do not require visa), Malaysia or Singaore entry and come back in on second passport with no Thai stamps in passport. would there be issue using second passport entering these countries?
any info would be greatly appreciated
thanks

There are no "multiple Entry Tourist " Visas
TVs are issued by the number of entries permitted , 1,2 or 3.
There is no 90 day rule , you were misinformed.
i was told this at Singapore Thai Embassy earlier this year.
much appreciated for the info
-
Hello all,
I am looking for multiple Entry Tourist Visa,
I have had a single entry TV and when i received this
i was told i needed to stay outside LOS for 90 days before i could come back.
If i have the multiple entry TV can you reapply for extension without having to leave
or do you need to stay out for 90 days after completion of visa

Thanks everyone for your comments,
My Girlfriend went to Immigration in Bangkok and had paperwork filled out for appeal,
She had with her my Current Work Contract plus other paperwork, hopefully will get a response in the next week or 2.
I have never over stayed my allotted time in thailand and i dont have any shady background.
there was a lot of things i could have and should have done on the night but hindsight is a great thing,
when your awake and travelling 18-20 hours, after having a few drinks on the plane tiredness creeps in and things get missed,
i have pasted what was stamped in passport
there isn't a Thai embassy in Ireland only a Consulate, i can apply for Tourist Visa in through Consulate in Ireland, but will do when i haven Passport,
its annoying as i was planning on coming back to Ireland on 13th this month to apply for new passport as i had only 2 pages free in current passport.
I have Iraqi visa in passport and easily seen i have from stamps dates in entered and left that country

I am surprised that looking for work was given as a reason.
What country are you from and when you were refused entry what happened ? Were you given a choice of destination ?
Also, did they ask for and could you produce the 20,000 Baht in cash that you're supposed to carry when arriving ? From what I've heard this is an often used 'excuse' to deny entrance.
I am Irish,
flew from Basra Iraq through Dubai as that is where i am currently working,
my return ticket was returning to Bangkok, although i had another booking departing Thailand on 13th this month but was never asked about that,
I was asked about cash, i had close to $400, 70 euro, 200 AED, 7000 baht on me
choice of destination was for me to fly to ireland but as i had already ticket to amsterdam for 13th just changed dates.

thanks for reply
the IO at desk brought my passport to an office at Immigration area,
what i was saying is that i did not have an interview, they came out with print outs
of my entry/exits from thailand saying i stay in country to long, that i am looking for work,
that was my gist of it, there was no one on one interview, very little information was given to me, waited in Immigration area for over 90 minutes
then brought to lower level of airport where again no information came my way, just info logged in numerous books, then EK airlines rep arrived
to go through arranging flights home

Looking for advice,
I was refused entry to Thailand in Bangkok.
Reason put in passport was for i was looking for work in Thailand.
From reading posts most say there is an interview process when anything arises,
now i went through no interview with senior IO.
Over last 2 years i have been entering Thailand a lot, on 2 occasions i have stayed
up to 4 months doing the Visa run every 30 days, (i work in Oil & Gas but work in last year or so is slow due to oil price,
in last 5 months back working) so i have a lot of stamps in the passport
which i think was the reasoning behind their thinking i was working or looking for work in Thailand.
I am now back in my home Country but my partner is devastated & angry at IO's.
I will get new passport but is there any advice on what i should do, stay out of thailand for a few months?
apply for multiple entry tourist 6 month visa with new passport.
wat i am afraid of is they took picture of me and is on their system, if i go back in with new passport will it flag up
about being previously refused
