  1. Thailand is an utterly shameless country for having the most corrupt government officials on this planet.

Not sure that they top the list of the worst for such in the region. From China down through to the Philippines and Indonesia, it's endemic.

Even neighboring religious Malaysia doesn't seem too shameless either. During the week a thai woman working in a massage joint in KL told me that every 3 days the boss gets visited by the cops for tea money, knowing there are up to 8 thais there working without a permit. Oh, and the icing on the cake? - the owner is a policewoman herself. Go figure.

If by 'region' you mean Eastern Asia. Then Vietnam would take the crown for most corrupt.

  2. So the mastermind of killing Chinese people ran to China? Not the best hiding place. He had a fortnight to dig in there. I suppose Chinese police will get to him soon. Then perhaps the motive of the bombing will finally be made clear.

He's such a 'mastermind' that among the 20 people killed by the bomb blast in Bangkok only 4 were Chinese.

  3. His ethnicity? And this is relevant for what reason?

You might as well say they want to know his knob size

Because it's tied to his motive. The bomber is Uighur. Being Uighur has relations and is directly connected to why he planted that bomb.

You seriously can't be that dense. unsure.png

Keep grasping at straws though, it's quite entertaining.

From an investigatory point of view everyone knows he's a Uighur. What is his nationality. Everyone knew in 5 days he was a Uighur. Is he kazakh, Turkish, Uzbek or Chinese?

If you know that he's Uighur, why do you call him Chinese?

Uighurs are not Chinese, Tibetans are not Chinese. You're welcome.

  4. According to China they are. Anything else is semantics.

You have your own brain do you not? Do you just not use it?

They want to know what NATIONALITY the suspect has. I've lived in Xinjiang for a year and am well aware of the issues.

But his NATIONALITY is Chinese if he has a valid passport until proven otherwise. There are 70 minority in China. All CHINESE

    Uighurstan doesn't exist, yet

Nope. They want to know his ethnicity.

Uighurs are not Chinese and if you keep calling them that, I wouldn't be surprised if you get blown up next.

  5. Are they all muslims?

Is the suspected Chinese mastermind a muslim?

Possibly, but without a known motive, for me anyway, it would be difficult to call it the work of a religious terrorist.

Let alone have the guts to publicly call it such.

He is Uighur, be careful calling uighurs something they are not.

Interesting, also interesting is a article in the Bangkok Post about a Thai policeman that fired a rocket grenade into army building on Cambodian Sa Kaew border in 2010.

He has been convicted and one of the charges was terrorism.

So Chinese Uighurs can come to Thailand blow up a shrine, be involved in bomb making and it seems people smuggling and narcotics manufacture and by blowing up 2 bombs and killing and maiming people they are not terrorists!!!

Neither are the immigration police guilty of aiding and abbeting people smuggling and terrorism.

Uighurs aren't Chinese, and you calling them that might aggravate them more to bomb another shrine.

Well if he's got a real Chinese passport, chances are he's Chinese.... Duh

So do Tibetans, but they aren't Chinese... Duh
