  1. These were all shot in the early evening of March 22nd.

    The moon rising over a small mountain in the middle of the lake. This is during sunset, behind me.

    It was cloudy this evening. At first I was kind of upset, because I wanted some really clean shots. However, the clouds added some magic and mystery.

    Blue Sky Moon - this shows "blue hour", one of my favorite times to shoot. The hour (roughly) after sunset makes the sky appear as a gorgeous cobalt blue to the camera. I was able to get a clean shot as the moon rose higher between the clouds. Blue Hour is great for shots of buildings and any kind of outdoor architecture like statues or monuments, and so on.

    Just the moon, just for fun. Not as clear as I'd really like, but the clouds were very thin here and they pretty much disappeared in post editing.
