  1. Police said that it was raining and misty at the time of the accident and the driver appeared to have driven the van in high speed, did not see the truck travelling in front of him and, therefore, rammed into its rear forcefully.

Happy to hear the moron driver is not gonna kill anymore in this lifetime - hope he rots in hell

RIP to the passengers that unfortunately had to be driven by a moron in Thailand ...

  2. “Tourists stopped coming but now they are coming again. Hotels and guest houses are already fully booked for December,” he said.

Good for them, they deserve it - not like in Thailand where they now run around like headless chickens panicking cause the High Season is going down the toilet due to the danger and corruption visitors experience in Land of Scams ... bah.gif only TAT can save the Tourism trying to lure more people with some idiotic campaign gigglem.gif

  3. Kids should be given pay as you go phones ..

Kids should be outside, playing games......

You've obviously lived a sheltered life.

Would you send your kids outside in Thailand with it either extremely hot or constantly raining, not to mention the crazy drivers and the possible kidnappers.

You don't see a kid outside playing in my village until around 5:3pm when the temperature starts to drop.

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that you are the one who has had the "sheltered life". When I was a kid, there were no smart phones, iPads or computers. We played baseball and basket ball with our friends for hours when the temperature was in the 80's & 90's (Fahrenheit), and it didn't kill us. We played football in the rain, mud, or with 2 foot of snow on the ground. And guess what? We all survived. Not only that, but we all had one hell of a lot of fun! I realized the world has changed dramatically over the past 50+ years, and I accept that. But I'll take my "childhood days" over the crap that passes for childhood now any day of the week.

I played outside all day too when I was a boy but then again I didnt live where thai drivers act like they are Mario Andretti even tho they cant pass a simple driving test ...

If thai children were playing on the roads where we live there would at least 1 killed every day - they just dont care do they ... ? bah.gif
