What will they do when everyone is vaccinated and the virus is still running rampant?

There will be no end to this. Ten years from now the govt will be demanding booster shots. 

"....Covid coming to an end"? Not in our lifetime.

Yes, the economy will improve: from "disastrous" to "terrible".

It happens a lot here. I was recently intentionally run into by a farang running in opposite direction. Put a shoulder into me and kept running. Body builder about 6 ft. tall, 40-50, 35 years my junior. 

Lockdowns are the only bullets they have in their arsenal. NO reflection on the utter absurdity of it.

COVID-19 is here to stay. The daily infection numbers will never be zero again. Even after 70 % of the population has been vaccinated.

The number of deaths is and has always been the only real important figure.

The only way we can get back to some sort of normality is to get as many people immune as possible.

And that's the real challenge  because in Thailand corruption is and has always been the only true winner.

 

 

 

 

 

It's obvious "lockdowns" don't work so why are they still using them?  We are told vaccines effectiveness as low as 40% with the need for endless "boosters". Common sense would follow dr.'s advising that we open everything and rely on "herd immunity" which is the only effective way of ridding ourselves of virus. Protect the weak and elderly and let every one else develop immunity the way it's been done for hundreds of years. (without destroying the economy further).

Wondering, how are they getting these numbers. How many people are actually being tested to get these numbers? And where? Are people calling in to report their own positive tests? And how many died "with" covid and how many "because of" covid? Numbers are very suspicious.

All I know is my monthly pension sent to Bangkok Bank will show a healthy increase in Baht received and that's a good thing, long overdue. Higher prices will have little effect on me.

Many who have been vaccinated are STILL getting the virus. No guarantees.
