It just a policy of not allowing them at most crossings.
I don't think Chiang Khong would allow one.
What do you mean in this two sentences?
Thanks

There is no limit on visa exempt entries by air. At land border crossings only 2 are allowed per calendar year.
For Argentinean passport which gets 90 days is just 1 border crossing per year right?
Last week i was not allowed to cross in to Tachileik from Mae Sai. And in 2019 i had just one visa exempt and one tourist visa made in Vientianne. Would i find the same problem at Chiang Khong?

Yes, you must apply for an appointment. Start at https://www.thaivisavientiane.com/
Be aware that Vientiane now asks for things that were not demanded of repeat applicants in the past. In particular, make sure you have a recent bank statement when you apply. You may need it.
So if not which is the consulate in which is easier doing it nowadays?

I think your plan looks good ... on the assumption that you have not applied for tourist visas in Vientiane before.
I applied only once but last year. Is it true that now you have to get an appointment rather than walking in the consulate?

Hi everyone.
National of Argentina under 90 day visa exempt. First of the year. I was planing going to Vientiane to get a 2 month tourist visa and come back. Would there be any problem with this? If not. What other options do I have? Thank you.

The main aspect here is to be realistic in your expectations. Being drown in a delusion of "love" happens to many specially in the first months of a relationship. Having kids is not a game, is something really serious that requires some time to see beyond any possible idealistic delusion of the perception of your SO. Other aspect to take into consideration is the temperament of the personality of a individual. For example, narcissists or psychopaths are quite charming, but are they functional in relationships? Not really. Forming a functional family is something serious that requires a lot of effort. It rather seems you have to adapt more to him than a reciprocal adaptation to each other, love in the end. I have asked several Thai women about Thai men, why do most talk bad about then? I have heard the following many many times: they are lazy; drunk; dependent economically, gamblers; junkies; immature; arrogant; prostitute lovers; jealous; etc. Are all Thai men like this? Obviously not. But they are some. And going beyond all this farang/Thai stereotypical relationship with huge age difference. I have seen that most Farang women Thai men relationships go far worse that the opposite, funny enough all this Thai men seem to have some of the cliche mask like, tattoo guy; musician guy; spiritual guy; mustache guy; Rasta guy; artist guy; all sort of "cool". How many Thai men who work in the rice fields, construction, shoe repair, taxi drivers have you seen with farang women? Not many. But we see far more farang men with a simple Thai typical woman in a tiny village for example. Every "looser" want to look like a "winner" and for some Thai men having a farang woman is like a sort of status trophy, like for others becoming a monk is their status trophy. In this culture status is important. Many partnerships here are not based in love, in the exterior the could show that, but inside home they could sleep on the same bed without touching each other for decades. Observing how your SO acts outside the house with you, or even alone compared to the intimacy situation will give load of hints and answers.

Thanks everyone.
UPDATE: I thought about the subject and realise that probably is better if a set up the budget to 25000Baht (1 dollar a day for 2 years is a good deal) considering also time passing. It's totally reasonable to get something at least 8GB RAM, i5 CPU, and with SSD and probably a graphic card Nvidia or Amd. Should I consider a global warranty?
Also I go for 14' instead of 13.
for the moment the choice would be Lenovo ideapad 530S

Hi guys. I looking for a new laptop as my former one broke, but I am getting crazy choosing one as the products of the market here differ a lot of others countries. And is very difficult to guide myself. Everything seems to be more expensive here. Please if you can help me out, 14 inch max.
This are the specs of my broken laptop (which was fine, but I suppose it would be reasonable to get something better, I am looking for a balance between quality and price below 18000b):

i am a bit confused. Cause i read that the trip would take 2h 1/2 and some people say 3h and even 3h 1/2. Also it worries me the queue number that they give you the day you leave your passport, as i read theu give out the passports to pick up by that order. Also if i am lucky i could get the 14:00 bus and if not the 15:00 and that way i think i eould be scrued. Thanks.

Guys, if i would be picking up my passport from the Thai consulate on Vientiane on Monday. Would i have time to reach Udon thani at 18:00 (17:00) for a flight to Chiang Mai? Or should i change it? I have the sensation its quite a strech...

90 day exempt national.
Entered thailand December 2017, last day of stamp on march tried to leave by land by Wang Prachan border to Malaysia, was not allowed to leave, had to extend 7 days for 1900b. Left to cambodia by Ban Hat Lek border a week later. Spent a month in Cambodia. Went back to Thailand by the same border and got 90 day visa exempt again.
My doubt is. If i would spend a month in another country and i come back, would they give me a 90 day stamp again?
Also, Vientiane is the only consulate in a neighboring country which is not asking for bank statements / tickets / booking?
Thanks in advance.

Suan Prung is great for getting your meds when you are already in a quite stabilized medication program. I go there once a month to get them. And it takes me 3 hours normally. Everyone there is really helpfull. But if you want to find out what you have and also try the different meds that could help you I would recommend instead an appointment with a doctor in a private institution in which they would give a more individual attention to you.
I can recommend Dr. Kittiwan but depend on the situation. If your issue is complex as it was mine you will probably be misdiagnosed. If you experience something close to the standard depression or anxiety or insomnia o bipolar or adhd or psychotic or schizophrenic features is fine. Now for complex cases of the diaseases which can overlap each other you should definitely consider setting up meetings with at least 2 different doctor or even 3 I would recommend. I find Thai sometimes extremely traditional and mental disease doenst always need a traditional approach.

You may have to fly out and back to get a new 90 day entry.
This from a company's website that does border runs to Ban Laem for a crossing to Cambodia and Ban Phu Nam Ron to Myanmar from Bangkok.
Thank you ubonjoe! Good karma!
So possibly that mean the same attitude will be taken in almost every border as I see it.

Good night everyone. I am a national of Argentina (90 day visa exempt). Last week I was down south in Thailand, my 90 days run off and I went to Wang Prachan border with Malaysia to get a new 90 day stamp. They didn't allow me to leave the country and advice me to go to Satun Immigration, because of the circumstances I was more a less obliged to get a 7 day extension. They told me that if I wanted to do a Borden run I should have go to Padang Besar border, which by logistic reason I couldn't do at the time. Now I don't really know if they will allow me to do a border run. I entered Thailand in December 2017 after more of a year being out, therefore is my first stamp. My extension runs out tomorrow and I am considering options, What would you recommend me? My knowledge about this is rusted and seems the situation is quite different from 2 years ago. Also I am in BLK now so I thin Padang Besar is out of question. If anyone has the knowledge and a recommendation I will totally appreciate. Thank you.

Thanks everyone.

Argentina.
Could I enter us with my passport full? (There will be space for stamps)
But my last actual page could be for the US visa, and f..uck the new passport thin and doit there.
Thanks.
-
Yes. I got that, I will call on Monday! The fact is that those websites kill me of anxiety.
I will ask my embassy too for recomendation of what I should do before.
-
Thanks!!!!
The fact is that I have only one empty page in my current passport.
Getting a new one will take one month and a half in my embassy in BKK.
Therefore I'm thinking if maybe I should do the US visa first and after my passport renewal.
3 days wait for appointment? How long to get the visa?
Thanks again!
-
Hey everyone.
Does anyone of you know where is faster to obtain a B-2 Visa for US? Would be better in Chiang Mai or BKK?
And I have another question. If they make the visa in my current passport and after that I get it renew before arriving US, can they move the visa to the new passport?
Thanks!

No insurance here.
Maharaj Nakorn, in cases which I am sick, and I need to save money without considering a fast service.
McCormick, in the same case but if I want to be checked faster.
Also for dentistry, I consider that to be something in which saving to much doesn't worth it at all. Its a bit pricey, filling (700b), removing 2 wisdom teeth (one of those which was impacted/horizontal, and very close to the nerve, the other one normal) [4000b], but things done excellent,no numbness, excellent stitching, etc.
And for some blood test I can't get in the following:
AMS CLINICAL SERVICE CENTER, CHIANG MAI UNIVERSITY (if you want to know the prices pm me and I send a pic of them, and of what they can test).
And Dr.Morgan for consultation.
