I've put down a deposit on a new car (also my 1st car) and got a English certificate of residence from my embassy with the description of registering a vehicle but the Toyota sales agent is insisting on having the COR in Thai for some reason.
Obviously I insisted her to check as from what I've read both options would be acceptable but it's unlikely she did anything. I also have an old style work permit with an address in it which I also use on my driving license however this isn't my current or actual address...
I've never filed a TM30 (Chamchuri/The One Bangkok) and would rather not contact my landlord who is elderly man in his 80's in bad health. Would it make sense to call or go to the DLT or just get a translation done with COR issued by the embassy ?
