  1. What this drug does is that it slows down the movements of your intestines so all your, by now, fermenting food is backlogged up all the way and I believe releasing toxins into your blood stream.

Another job for your liver to sort out.

i guess better food choices and amount of food is the answer.

The thing is ... why does the human brain have cannabinoid receptors? Some people argue it's because humans have been taking cannabis for 10,000 years.

But I wonder if there might be another more complex explanation beyond our understanding.

  4. Many so called tests that have been done (mainly by cigarette manufacturers themselves) they have used a device attached to the e-cig (forcing mice to inhale) which uses much more heat than is generated by a normal e-cig, in fact so much heat that a user of such e-cig would not inhale at all, due to the distorted taste. Furthermore, the mice were forced to inhale continuously for 24 hours, no vaper does that.  The excessive heat let loose a lot of chemicals that normally would not appear.  That is one of the reasons why normal cigarettes are more dangerous, due to the burning of tobacco.

The  cigarette industry is not happy losing clients, hence distorted tests.
British NHS has looked at independent tests, apparently one big research Center in Greece as well as many European research results.  Apparently it was enough to satisfy research docs in the UK, so the result was the handing out of e-cigs to people wanting to quit smoking.

  5. Hi Superal,

I look for organic and cold pressed oils.  That in itself does not guarantee that it is indeed 100% olive oil.  Have found a Spanish oiive oil at Villa Market, “Rawganio”, certified organic olives.
As mentioned I have studied a lot, which obviously does not make me a doctor, however I find the subject very interesting.

e.g. I lowered my somewhat high blood pressure by taking the amino acid L-arginine, which is a precursor to the good nitric oxide.  This relaxes your blood vessels, gets more oxygen into your blood, result is lowered blood pressure without the petrodrugs that mess up the communication between cells which cause you to have to take more petrodrugs to treat the side effects.

i take quite a few supplements, I try to eat non GMO foods as well as organic as much as possible.  Problem, however, soil management these days is very poor, so not enough nutrients and minerals in soil is taken up by plants and supplementation becomes necessary.

  6. Tom, yes, possibly your diet is poor. Do not use any veggie oils, stick to organic, cold pressed olive and coconut oils. Try to cut down somewhat on meats and add many kinds of veggies to fill you. I like to put some olive oil (as per above) and slightly heat onions, snow peas, paprika, broccoli for a few mins. Add Himalayan salt, pepper and herbs to your taste.
to reach homeostasis is having all your cells happy with energy. Cells’ job amongst other things is to repair where repair is needed. If there is no energy, they can’t do their job.
the cells produce energy (ATP), but that energy comes from clean food sources, vitamins, minerals and nutraceuticals.

It has taken me many years of daily research to get some understanding of this.
I’m a 75yr old Scandinavian woman living in Thailand.

Thanks for the article link , I wonder why that study is not more commonly known ?

.The pharma industry would not be too happy.  Statins are a great revenue.

as far as I understand, cholesterol is produced by the liver and is like dishwashing detergent, it swallows up lipids (fat) into tiny nano molecules and carries out into the blood just like dishwasher detergent gobbles up the fat on your dishes..  We need that fat, it is used to help fight inflammation and infections.  The higher the rate of inflammation/infection the higher the rate of LDL.The mistake is really to artificially, bombastically and forcefully get the LDL down by artificial means.  The LDL is high for a reason!  Find out where/why inflammation/infection is in the body, treat that and your cholesterol will be normal. When your levels are forced down docs and you are happy, alas it’s only hiding the reason LDL was high in the first place.

the “normal levels” for blood pressure, cholesterol etc has always fluctuated as per when the pharma industry has to sell more ace inhibitors or beta blockers or statins, etc. .  Whenever I see inhibitor or blockers in so called medicine I know that side effects can be severe due to the fact that doctors have been educated by professors who are often on the boards of big pharma companies.  Don’t get me going on PPI (proton pump inhibitors) or SSRI’s .  Find out the source, fix the source and live happily ever after.
unforunately, there is a revolving 💰door between pharma, FDA and the CDC.

If your body is in homeostasis (good balance), all your tests will be normal.

  8. Once I was given Ambien when I took a heart drug that gave me insomnia.  Well, well, after 2 months of using only 2,5-5mg of Ambien, when I tried to quit I got rebound insomnia which is worse than the original insomnia I got the pills from the doc in the first place. Doc was happy to continue prescribing, but I wanted to quit.  Took me 3 months to wean off, most awful time I have ever had as regards sleeping.  I now still have problems falling asleep, not every day but around 3 times per week. I am 75 yrs old and have NEVER had sleeping issues in my life before this damned heart medication that I was able to quit after 6 weeks, but that was enough to get me hooked on Ambien.

i purchased a homeopathic sleeping pill which you melt under your tongue.  For me it works very well and it’s not habit forming. It’s called “SleepCalm” by a French company called Boiron.  You can also try Valerian root, GABA pills.  Melatonin 2mg did nothing for me.

Extra Magnesium did not help either even though Magnesium Glycinate or Magnesium Acetyl Taurinate is touted to do so.  Guess we are all different so have to find our own way.

BUT I will NEVER again use a prescription sleeping aid again, it’s pure poison especially when you try to quit.  Any prescription “Z” sleep drug is habit forming - stay away. (Ambien=Zolpidem).

  9. 1000mg of magnesium glycinate is far too much.  400mg is enough per day, you should not really exceed this. Too much magnesium has the opposite reaction, it keeps you awake rather than make you feel sleepy.

  10. As n00dle said, herbicides or air pollution, what a choice! 6 of 1 half dozen of the other.

Before getting industries involved in CO2 reduction (crazy idea), why not clean up all the plastics, GMO’s, waste from industries being allowed to enter waterways, geo-engineering etc and more.

Maybe tax incentives for agro industries to deploy other methods than burning using sustainable methods rather than exchanging one poison for another.

  11. It’s the magnesium that does it.  A well known muscle relaxant.  You need a ratio of 2:1 - magnesium: calcium.

Even foot baths with Epsom salts help (magnesium), then you can get magnesium gels to massage your legs/feet, anything you put on your skin gets absorbed.  Generally we get so much calcium in our fortified foods so rarely needed as a supplement.  However, magnesium a different story.

  12. Why not fine people when they throw cigarette butts/ plastic bottles/plastic bags on the beach rather than smoking.  I quit smoking some years ago, however what’s the harm if people put their own trash/cigarette butts away?

Guess I can  understand  you may not like to be in a beach bed next to a chain smoking individual.  When I smoked, I always made sure that I collected my butts and threw them away in the garbage can and also made sure that the smoke did not drift to my neighbouring sunbed dweller.

The fine for this this is ridiculous!  It is more than for murder in this country, so it seems.

As regards vaping, this is seen in Europe as a healthier substitute.  Not saying it is without risks.  The problem seems to be in some countries that it is not allowed due to taxes, since it’s not considered a tobacco product.  Why not just tax vaping licquid the same way as tobacco, problem solved!? Well  well.........

  13. I have just had a horrible experience with AIS.  Have used them for about 10years, no hassle.  Hassle started this past Wednesday, could not dial out, a female voice speaking Thai was saying something.  I later understood that I should go to an AIS office and register, I already did that many, many years ago with passport etc.

so off I went to an AIS office this past Wednesday, they took photos of my passport and worked on their computers for around 20 mins, and said all was OK.  All was fine the whole day and evening.  I wake up on Thursday, I.e. yesterday and wanted to call for my taxi, got hold  of a neighbor who could call my taxi company.  Again, off to the AIS office.  They sat at their computer, smiled and said all OK now.

well, this morning, the same thing happened.  Off I went to the AIS office again, the third day in a row! Same story, 5 mins on their computer, and was promised its all OK finally.  It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow morning.

i have no clue as to why this has happened after 10years of having my tel no, also, registering with passport when this was initially required.

Has as anyone else had this problem? What to do?  HVe been advised that I could change from AIS to True.  Opinions, would be grateful to hear.
