I've seen a couple nice new Royal Enfields cruising around Bangkok lately and I've done some poking around online and found that 500cc models are listed for 180k+ Doe anyone know if the 350cc Classic models are for sale in Thailand, if so any idea of a list price?

Thanks. If I can get the translation done Wireless Road, what are they doing at Chaengwattana?
(My actually Immigration Office is Pathum Thani. They are telling me to go to the embassy and then to Chaengwattana and then back to Pathum Thani)

Hi,
My wife and I are both Americans, I am a teacher who recently received his Thai work permit, she is not working. She is on a spousal "type 0" visa, we recently went to Immigration to extend the 90-day "type 0" into a one year visa and they told us we needed a translated copy of our U.S. Marriage License and told us to go to the U.S. Embassy and then to Chaengwattana.
I'm trying to figure what we need to bring to the Embassy and what we need to bring to Chaengwattana? What do I ask for at the Embassy? Where does the translation happen?
Do we both need to be present for either? Thanks in advance.

i have seen a shop at Huay Kwang .... Soi Pracha Suk
Thanks. Does anyone know the name of this shop? I want to make sure they are open and carry vintage stuff before I make the trek down there.

Hi,
I'm looking to buy a running, vintage Vespa with green book in Bangkok. Anyone know a dealer or swap meet? I've looked on kaidee but my lack of Thai language skills has made things difficult.
Thanks,

Hey folks,
I'm an American teacher with a work permit. My wife (also an American) recently received her "Non-Immigrant Visa "O" -- Accompanying spouse or family members" through an embassy run in Vientiane. We are planning on going on vacation next month and I was curious if she would be eligible for a re-entry permit (similar to the one I have.) If so, where could she get this?
Thanks,

Thanks Crossy, That would be close enough. Just looking to keep my commute under 40 minutes.
Do you have any contact info for this place?

Hello,
My wife and I are having trouble locating adequate housing near Rangsit, Surat Thani. We recently moved to Thailand and speak very little Thai, I have had a hard time getting responses from any properties listed online (such as ddproperty of kkbkk.)
We are looking for an apartment, condo, or house, furnished, 1-2 bedrooms, indoor cat friendly, pool and fitness centers big bonus. Does anyone know a specific location or could put us in touch with a local real estate agent?
Thanks!
Bartering on New Motorcycles/Scooters?
in Motorcycles in Thailand
Posted
After renting for a few months, I plan on picking up a new motorcycle or scooter soon. Likely something a bit higher end (Vespa or Royal Enfield.) These bikes have list prices which seem to be followed at the dealerships, can I expect to pay less than this? If so what sort of discount am I looking at? Will paying in cash instead of financing entitle me to more bargaining power? Any tips are appreciated as I have never bought a new motorcycle here before, my Thai is terrible, and I am a notoriously bad barterer...
