In the shadows, isn't the WEF, through its "Global Young Leaders," insidiously trying to take control of the destiny of this country? If you don't share this deadly ideology, maybe it's time to get out.

I will never travel by bus in Thailand, nor will I allow any of my family members to do so.
but will you let them take a plane to south korea or a boeing 737 to anywhere?
and what about driving a car that kills tens of thousand every year ?
Although I must add that I share your decision for myself and my family... only train/flights or my own car and I never go tour on Songkran nor between Christmas and New Year or departure a few days before and drive back a few days after the official Thai holidays. -

National Police Chief, Pol. Gen. Kittirat Panphet, activated an immediate manhunt on 22nd November following a provocative online video allegedly depicting a 'foreign gang' flagrantly flouting the law. The viral video, which spurred outrage, possibly shows these individuals operating within Thailand's jurisdiction.
The Deputy National Police Chief, Pol. Gen. Thana Chuwong, is assigned to lead a comprehensive investigation to confirm the video's origin and location. Pol. Gen. Kittirat emphasised that if the footage was indeed shot on Thai soil, immediate action must be taken to apprehend those involved and bring them to justice without delay.
The video has stirred public concerns over law enforcement's ability to regulate foreign crime syndicates. Pol. Gen. Kittirat has vowed not to tolerate such disregard for Thai law by foreigners, urging swift enforcement to deter any future violations.

Immigration police are now under scrutiny to tighten their surveillance and ensure compliance with immigration laws.
Concerns have been raised regarding possible corruption, with Pol. Gen. Kittirat warning Immigration officers against laxity or accepting bribes, stressing they would face severe consequences, including criminal charges and disciplinary measures.

The directive demands a nationwide crackdown on any similar activities, stressing accountability at every level. Police chiefs in regions where enforcement is found wanting will face disciplinary actions.
Pol. Gen. Thana convened a meeting of relevant units at headquarters to expedite the investigation. Immediate action is sought to reassure the public and maintain Thailand’s legal framework integrity.
This operation highlights a firm stance against any group attempting to undermine the country's legal authority, reported Thai Newsroom.

Though they are bringing some money in, the influx of Russians was probably the worst thing to ever happen to Thailand in the last 50 years. With the open arms, open legs policy, the government has essentially invited in the Russian Bratva, the Chinese Triads and all kinds of other miscreants, who are likely attempting to take over from the local mafias.
This kind of stuff is just not going to stop, and the police can't do much about it. It's a courageous thing that this guy is doing, a Wai doesn't mean much after the fact, neither does a small pittance of cash.
....and all kinds of other miscreants....

There is no tax credit you can claim if you bring that into Thailand and will have to pay tax in full.
you are totally right. Most people don't seem to realize that, while they think safe because the existence of a double treaty, in most cases, due to the difference of the exempt income bracket, they will have to pay full tax amount in Thailand.

in short "we" and probably "they" don't know anything about the real ray of spreading. The winds are blowing South since a week and are announced to continue in that direction for the coming days. Better buy a Geiger counter yourself if you want to know if you are concerned.

So, again I ask, why don't the Thai elites send their children to Russia and China to be educated? Why don't they buy real estate there? Why didn't they travel to Russia and China for Covid vaccines, instead of the US? Why do they buy US and Western businesses and not Russian ones? Why do they buy European soccer teams and not Russian ones?
because like a lot of western nerds, they look only short term, and only listen to the western main media. The west will be worse than china, and all properties will be confiscated a way or another.

On that basis bars won't open all 2022. Omicron is just getting started and will spread easily upto June at least.
Don't speak about what you don't know...
Omicron waves in UK, Holland, Belgium and South Africa last for maximum 4 to 6 weeks. They all passed their summit after the third week, although infecting 70 times more than the other variants, but without any severe case, and probably providing a better immunity than the vaccines (this is a guess, not yet demonstrated). So why would it last until June here ?-
