  1. Believe I read where Health Insurance is now required to enter Thailand? Who out there has more details?

On what are the total requirements needed to get the short term Visa at the airport in Bangkok?

My main question is this: Ro0jai.com offers a: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Insurance for a very reasonable price:

Question: Is this ($15 a YEAR) Coronavirus Insurance Enough to Get into Thailand? If NOT, what else is needed?

Thanks in advance and Remember, Have a great time in Thailand, but, probably more important than ever, Safety First...

  2. We have been living in China, under quarantine for over 10 weeks. No worries. We too only go out when we absolutely have to. We then stock up on lots of food, snacks, drinks etc. We use Netflix, Chinese TV, FB, VPN, we both read a lot, use the exercise room late at night when it is empty, what ever we can. No nightclubs, no restaurants, no crowds, no beaches & no schools. Have not been able to visit our place in Pattaya, as they require health Ins which we only have in the US. There is a new one in Thailand, only for CV19, anyone know if the country will accept that? Anyway,  it could be a lot worse, so, we adapt and are doing fine, thank you.

  3. Great reply, thanks for writing.

    OK, I am an American.

Can I get a Visa at the border to visit Laos or Cambodia?

Vietnam sounds Great, but, travel costs would be higher.

Or, if a bus or a train, more time consuming.

Also, as I currently live in China, our home is only 200ks from Viet Nam, so I was going to do a lot of traveling to Viet Nam later, when I have more time.

Any other ideas, or suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks again, keep safe & keep traveling.

  4. Hi All.. My first post, so Please be Patient with me; I will be spending two weeks in Thailand in late November. I would like to make 1 or 2 inexpensive, safe and fun trips to other countries, like Laos or Cambodia while I am there. Who has done it? What tips do you have? I would like to see the most, have a couple of great memories & spend the least (or close) while being safe and having a great time, with lots of photo opps. Any and all posts appreciated. Be happy and keep traveling..
