2 Condo's in the south, we use them time to time if we're up that way.
I'd suggest Northern West Coast

Hi, will be transferring a lot of land in June in bulks of 1.3-1.5mb purchases (multiples) i remember a few months back reading about the tax rate being reduced ? Is this still in play? I believe around 0.1% at the time.

Thanks

Its "Interbank rates" that 3% is nothing, your already saving on any conversion ratio and the amount quoted at google (interbank rate) is what you get when withdrawing...
Funds can be held in USD, GBP, and EUR -
I wont waste my time explaining in detail, but will say to the OP get your self a Revolut card, its self explanatory and available world wide.

Cool thanks and this can only be done in Vient?
-
Ok and the signle entry is "no funds" and only 90 days extendable also for an additional month? and then can apply for the longer term?
-
Can this visa 90 day non funds be done in the cap of Laos?
-
Ok, "I want to leave Thailand" i would hate to have to remain here because of a visa. so like the freedom of leaving every 30/60/90 days at most.
Current is Visa Exempt, Prior was Elite, prior was WP (what ever type) and Prior type was Marriage.
What i want now
Ability to leave and go either around visa timing or voiding visa and reapplying.
funds are ok but i've already been informed that they will not be mature, you have countered with above statement which i respect, two months down the line they will be, but then its 90 day report not - forced "visa run" which i want as i want the ability to leave often enough...
So with the 90 day type visa run where apart from Laos / Penang can one achieve (as both are shit holes IMO). without
A) showing Embassy stamped statementsun-matured funds
So essentially where can i get the visa offered in Laos on the same conditions ?
thx

k now confused, why was i told you have to report/leave-return every 90 days? and it can extend up to 17 months?

Hi, British.
Funds are "now" in the bank but not matured, i transferred over, was willing to do the 40k but then have to provide statements which is a big no no as do not want to show my offshore accounts/balances - we do not even show the accountants.
Was simple case previously but i stupidly bought another property with onshore funds wiping out the mature funds.
I can not stand the thought of joining one of them visa run vans, and prefer a place i can just fly in and enjoy and travel (upscale region with international airport) do not mind travelling further afield as will turn it in to a long holiday.
So i guess its the "Multi Entry" minus the funds, with the ability to show funds and change in 2 months.
Sounds like you want a 1 year extension of stay as a husband showing 400K in the bank for two months.
There is no need to leave the country. Unless you have done it already you can apply for a 60 day extension of stay to visit your wife (1,900 baht). Towards the end of the 60 days, once the funds have been in the account for the required two months, you can apply for the 1 year extension.
Unfortunately i have already been informed they have not been there long enough (deposited a few weeks back).
So i am looking at "Non O based on Marriage minus funds" and can then convert to Marriage based on funds...
Alternatively would not concern me with a long "Tourist Visa or like" that can be obtained in say Indo, China, HK, Kora, Jpn etc that i can convert later (or just flyout and apply for the relevant when that expires).

well except for #2 I got everything else and an SCB account as well.
I would prefer to stay away from them due to high transac fees and non-competent forex rates.
Cant comment on platinum or card unless, to say 2 is important for a platinum (remember the limit is anywhere from 100k to 1m - mine was upped to 1m through a business partners friend so lucky encase need an emergency operation if have an accident and no insurance when travelliing neighbouring asean countriies- something to consider).
These instalments options i'm yet to use, but they all really are the same and the big four banks SCB, Krungsi, Bangkok (Shit CC) and the Yellow one i always forget the name off...
Yes with SCB you get free perks (really in the admin fee) such as airline room's etc, points on spend that give you options to buy things, discounts on trips abroad etc, and some cinema etc (no expert there as don't really take much notice)
yes they will apply for two because she gets commission on the application but rarely 2 will arrive they just go with one...

Personally have SCB Platinum, rates are around 20% per annum and a fee per year, great card, very handy, and always use for deposits when abroad for cars etc.
Just remember its not so easy to get one
#WP
#High Salary onshore bankable 150k +
#Established / Recognised company
Had mine about 3 years now, no longer involved in the project but the bank have no issues renewing as "credit rating" established.
Just remember to pay full monthly, and don't leave debt for your misses - no countersign required as long as you hit them points above, otherwise no clue but have heard others have been asked to literally give money to the bank to hold on too - which is a DC really.
SCB is best.
* Note no fee per annum if you progress more than xxx.xxx over the account in a year.

Any images would be great thanks Maxtwo
