Yes they've shot up in price. The demand has exploded for Japanese whiskey across Asia, but there's limited supply, so price has to go up. I'm not sure the distillers can just increase supply so easily. For example the stock for the 18s was laid down in the 90s when whiskey wasn't as popular, and they can't go back in time to increase that stock. It's finite. But we don't know if Hibiki has other barrels lying around and they are keeping supply low on purpose which is also possible. I do have a 17, USD$135 cheers
