  1. You know what they say ? Don't believe everything u read.

If u want to solve your problem by paying a little cash it can be remedied by using one of the most influential visa run people in Bangkok.

I know I just had a 3 year overstay and he took care of it for me and it was not big deal. Without me posting all the specifics I will just say

call him at his office ...the guy has done all my passport and visa crap for the past 8 years and he is very reliable and u can feel comfortable

dealing with him. Just tell him the guy "Rick" with the 3 year overstay recommended you and he will probably tell u to come to his office so he can

see your passport and tell u the cost and details. His number is : <contact by PM>

As far as people on here that like to talk stupid.....I wouldn't bother to even answer them. Why u overstayed is none of their business.

  2. First of all, I would like to tell you that most of the answers you got are far from your complete options and many simply do not know what they are talking about.

In all probability, you will be allowed to leave the border going into Laos but you will not be allowed to return but to solve this problem there are some options that have not been mentioned here. I recently completed a 3 year overstay and it was solved simply by going to the right guy paying cash of course on my behalf to

immigration. What this entails is going to his office .....you will get on his bus and go to Laos where his staff has already notified immigration and you will be escorted kind of right thru the process like every body else. In your case, you probably would get a stamp in your passport while standing at the counter in from of the immigration officer with a 90 day old stamp, a 60 day old stamp and your current stamp or something to that effect to make u current. How much you will have to pay I have no idea but maybe as much as 20K for the trip up there, hotel for the 1 night, passport repair, and trip back on the bus. This guy is well connected and runs Visa runs every week on the only Insured bus running these runs and he has been doing it for many years and I have used him for 7 of them and recommended other guys in much worst shape then you. You can call the guy at his office on his phone and he probably will tell u to just come in and see him.

His phone number is: <contact by PM for phone number>. You can mention to him that a guy with a big overstay recommended him. You wont need to feel uncomfortable in any way with this guy taking care of you/

As far as the guys that comment to you about why u lapsed your time on your passport , I think they just want to hear themselves make rediculous comments.

  3. No matter what the circumstances are, it is not a situation that anybody want to be in, especially a foreigner. Thailand has an agreement with many countries that allows the native person to be deported and returned to his native country to serve out the rest of his sentence. It may be 5 years or 10 and in most cases the original sentence for a foreigner is often reduced by the King on his birthday.

Countries have made this agreement with second and third world countries that may or may not offer their citizens humane and fair treatment during their sentence so the request that their citizens can be returned to their country to finish out their sentence is requested and it is the decision of the country where the crime occurred if the criminal is released.

Foreigners usually have their drug sentences reduced by the king and any foreigner that is sentenced to death will have his sentence reduced to life or better so that "in the eyes of the world" Thailand is a country with compassion. Unfortunately, Thais do not fair quite as well in most circumstances and if they are sentenced to death....the death sentence is carried out with the offender knowing his fate only 8 hours before the sentence is carried out. This is so his family can be notified.

I'm sure this guy will spend many horrific years in the Thai penitentiary, shackled for a period of time, as is done with new prisoners in a place he never imagined he would visit

  4. A few years back I was on Beach Road in Pattaya when a young girl of about 11 walked by with a falang following close behind. This young girl was pointed out to me by one of the local working girls and I was told that this young girl was a prostitute that brings men to her mothers room since she can not get into any hotel with a man. I was disgusted by the thought of this and the next day I saw the young girl again with another falang walking close behind her. I stood near the police box on the corner of Beach road and Walking Street. I told the attending cop about the little girl and her activities as a prostitute. He looked at her as she and her customer walked passed and then he looked back at me and said "You know, this is Pattaya" and that was the end of that.

So does Thailand really give a damn ? Please................

  5. At first glance at PassionDelivery I was a bit taken aback at the prices. I thought most of the meats plus many of the other items were out of sight and certainly out of range for many Expats.

I recently made a trip back to the US for the first time in 9 years. All that time sitting at home in Thailand I was not aware of what has happened during that time. When I got home and saw that the world has become much more expensive I realized that, in fact, the cost of the items that I viewed on Passion Delivery were not so high after all.

When in the US I visited the Honey Baked Ham store for a half of ham for the holidays and when I was told that the item that was about $22 the last time I went to their shop had risen astronomically and now cost $89 for a half of ham. I was flabbergasted. Living in Thailand sometimes makes us unaware of how the economies of the world are all getting more expensive and cost rise everywhere, including Thailand, and sometimes are so expensive in our own homeland a person wonders how a family can survive with the cost of many items.

Passion Delivery offers not only a vast selection of great quality foods, but they offer a reasonable price. No I am not affiliated with Passion Delivery in any way but have found that they not only offer great choices but they do it in a professional and respectable manner with a website that is easy and informative. For those guys that say they will just go buy a meal at McDonalds rather than eat quality food.....I don't have much to say.
