What's it like these days to get visit visa, or longer,  for missus, but not married missus ?

Two kids, both oz citizens, 18 years together, previous residency in oz some 13 or more years ago.

Might go back for visit.

I was thinking, with all the influx issues of late...someone suggested keeping them all in camps until their countries are sorted and returned.

The world should chip in and buy a country to house them all...Thailand would be good....but realistically an island nation would be best.

Trying to work out a trip....I think the 8th is a friday....if its around the 13th, would it be correct to assume that the mass exodus could be that friday night and an extra long break taken ?
