Flew with them on Tuesday and was told by the very helpful manager of the swampy desk that you need either PCR or ATK test to transit through Singapore, regardless of final destination requirements

I was refused a flight when I had a one way ticket to Thailand. I did as others have suggested, booked a cheap flight out of Thailand on my phone and then showed this to the airline.

I just asked this from Thai Embassy in Helsinki and they just posted this link, which says the deadline is still the 15th of January. I have approved Thai Pass for 29th.. don't know what to do right now. Maybe cancel everything. Waiting for a bit now though, should be clarifications soon.
Check out info on this page...

Approved test and go passes now have no cut off date. You can bring flights forward if you email them. If you follow Richard Barrow on Twitter you will see all of the latest details

I don't know the owner personally but I'm pretty sure I know who he is. He was coming out of his house on motorbike when I was coming past on mine.... The dog instinctively charged me and bit. The owner saw / heard it but carried on going....
To be honest I'm not sure I have much chance of getting him to pay for anything? I'd probably have to go through the police.
Might be worth asking him if the dog has been vaccinated against rabies

To the op, ask yourself if you would do the work for the wages you offer? If not then you have your answer, simple.

People who move to Thailand and complain about the noise of dogs are like people that move house next to a nightclub and then complain about the loud music!
Seriously though, get a big water pistol................. and shoot it at the owner everytime the dog bothers you.

Notice how the bloodied boxers are all farangs? If it were Thai fighters on the board they wouldn't have a scratch on them

1. Make things simpler. For a marriage visa, there are no logical reasons to make a couple prove each and every year, that they are married, that a local Thai witness swears to their residence, and the dozen other requirements, that make sense upon the first application, but are nothing but a pain in the butt for everyone concerned, for renewals, and amount to nothing but harassment.
2. Clarify the rules. They seem to be shifting like sands in the desert. There is a lot of confusion and uncertainty out there.
3. Be polite and reasonably nice to foreigners at immigration. There is no need for the surly and arrogant attitudes. Yes, we are "guests" in your glorious kingdom. But, you are also our hosts. Behave like it.
4. Allow longer term visas for those over 60, who have been in Thailand at least 10 years, without requiring that we deposit 5 million baht in the bank, at silly interest rates.
5. Do whatever has to be done at the highest levels, to get rid of the incredibly obnoxious xenophobia, that permeates this government, and immigration. It is unproductive, surly, unappealing, makes both immigration, and the administration appear to be incredibly ungrateful for everything that the ex-pats bring to the table, which is alot! And it also makes them look like goombahs, and small, fearful, closed minded little minions.
There are countless areas for improvement. Show us something. Come on guys. You can do so much better than this.
Why would anyone improve things for you when it's YOU that's the problem? Your attitude is disgusting

we should be ranked by the amount of money we spend in Thailand. and have medals to wear to show everyone.

that is all i can think of right now.
We need more comments like this.

To be clear a page consists of 2 sides, you will need 3 sides.
Laos visa is 1 side
Tourist visa is 1 side
and the stamps in and out will need to be on another side

Yeah you are overthinking it. You can simply state Tourism as the reason for your visit and don't mention your girlfriend or that you will be working online. If questioned, which is highly unlikely, just explain you have a job to go back to in your home country when your trip finishes. Have ready a hotel booking to show on a smartphone for your 1st nights stay, but again, unlikely to be asked about it. Enjoy your stay

Hi AC,
sounds obvious to me:
Date of arrival in Thailand is date of the planned entry into the country. It would be a future date not starting before the date of the visa application.
Date of a previous visit to Thailand would be the entry date of my last visit to Thailand.
At least these are the dates I use in my applications.
hth,
Greenie
So obvious now you say it thanks! ???? Future date of arrival!

Hi all.
Just a quick query about how to complete one section of the Visa Application Form used in Savannakhet to get the Non O Visa due to Marriage.
This will be my 2nd application for a Non O and I am currently on the last entry (I know I can get an extension at local immigration but the timing now is good for a trip to Savannakhet) of my current Non O.
My query is re section 4:
- Date of arrival in Thailand
- Date of a previous visit to Thailand
Should I put the date of arrival as the last border hop I did or should I be putting the last time I flew in to the country before I obtained a visa?
I'm sure it's probably not that important but it would put my mind at rest to know what is correct.
If anyone has an example of a 2nd visa application form I'm sure it would help not just myself but others in the future as well.
Kind regards
AC

We had the same problem, but after we started with Bravecto we don't se ticks anymore not outside nor inside or on the dog.
If Your local vet don't have it then its available on Lazada.
Same here, so glad I found Bravecto! Started using it in December with our 4 dogs and haven't seen any ticks since!
It's worth buying the tablets for the large dog and splitting them if you have smaller dogs. The tablets are all the same price regardless of the size of dog they are for. Think we paid 750 baht per tablet and we have 2 large dogs and 2 smaller dogs, so 3 tablets was sufficient.
Edit: The treatment in December is the only one the dogs have had so they are effective for much longer than 3 months.

Totally different to my experiences!
Banks were all willing to accept me, I asked at 3, but went with Kasikorn in the end as it has the closest branch and my wife banks with them so it's easy to transfer money to her account using their app.
At the marriage the boss of the Amphoe was soo pleased that I wore a shirt and tie that he insisted on having photos taken of us with all of the staff in the office!! Pretty sure the photos will be on the office wall now!

A month for a wildlife organisation which helps elephants, apes etc and a month in an animal shelter with cats and dogs. The work will consist of feeding, cleaning, building, petting etc.
Do these organisations have websites that I could look at?
It will be interesting to see how they present the opportunities and if they suggest that everything is legal or not.
It may also be that they state they have employers/public liability to cover you for any medical costs if an accident should occur whilst volunteering for them.

Not complete correct.
When you follow the law healthcare has no limits.
When you did not follow the law, health care is covered according Dutch rates.
Retrieving your body back to The Netherlands (dead or alive) is only covered when you did not do anything illegal .
Arjen.
Subrogation will be used by the insurer. Basically they will find someone else to pay their losses in the event of a claim. Be that the insureds home insurance, the companies public liability etc etc

Will that still be covered if you work illegally?
As far as you're concerned you've been told by the organisations being worked for that there is nothing illegal about it, so you will be fine if you need to claim.
