Hi, it's becoming a real issue now.  Had 3 one month visa on arrivals this year and on arriving to Phuket immigration on my 3rd time they held me and said next time get 2 month visa in home country or we will not let you in.

So going for my 4th one month stay I went to the Thai consulate in Singapore. Had no issue got the visa for $50. 2 months visa for now a 17 day stay ? 

I don't work in Thailand. I have my Singapore work ID which I had on me and gave to them.

i am playing Golf in November and staying for 3 nights in Phuket. Crazy I need a visa for that .

When I met my Girlfriend she was slim. 3 years later she was so fat. I said she looked like an elephant. She did not fight back ! She left me. Now I am worried because elephants never forget right ?

Yes this is true. I have used visa on arrival to Phuket 3 times this year to play Golf etc no problem. 1 to 2 weeks each time. 4th time I arrived the immigration guy looked at his screen and walked me to a senior officer. He said next time get visa in home country before arriving. Or problem ! So will do that now. Do they still want genuine holidaymakers ?

Are there any lifeguards on duty now to stop them swimming ?

I use the same Taxi driver now or his sister after so many dangerous taxi rides. Best to find someone you like and pay a nice tip. Always gets me a good service.

Hi, Can you set up a group at xxxxx for stargazing on Phuket. I am also a Brit living there and agree with the clear sky a lot of the time its a good place to see the night sky. I am buying a Telescope this week, Cheers.
