I just eat thai if I go out to a restaurant or food court. I have a kitchen at home and prefer to cook when possible, even if it is more expensive.

7 years and you have met the family 3 times?
Anyway, buy it for yourself, after seven years surely you are a unit and it doesnt need to be in her name.

The main thing the airlines check is whether you have a return flight. In that case visa validity etc is unimportant, they know you are not going to be a burden to them.
I was refused a flight once from London to BKK because i didnt have a return, once i quickly booked it they let me through.
Once you have a work permit and associated visa, you can get onto flights without a return booked.
That is my experience at Heathrow with Etihad, emirates, and Thai airways, anyway.

It's good and a nice way to show respect, but it makes some threads useless since you cant see images. For times you want to see in colour, go to page source and delete : *removed*
The page will then return to colour.
It will not affect other pages and everything will continue to be black and white out of respect.

My thai friends say realistically there will be a month of mourning. But as a foreigner wear what colour you want, nobody cares unless it is really out there (haiwaain)

Happens to me sometimes in villa, they give me wildly inaccurate weights that I know I will not eat. I usually just accept it,then quietly leave it in the fridge section as if I've changed my mind. I'm too British to start arguing with the guy.

Have a friend go buy them at the market and give them to her$ Should be 100-150 THB dozen!
Yeah it's just inflated because a. it's valentines day soon. and b. you're a foreigner overseas. They know they have you over a barrel.
Try finding a website that caters to Thais. You'll have to find a thai dictionary to google it, but im sure you can find cheaper online.
What % of your diet is Thai food?

Yeah I cook basic stuff, meat, veg, and pasta or rice, its nothing fancy. It would be cheaper but there isn't a good place to get ingredients around here, just villamarket which has a high markup.
My food budget is about 400bht/day, I think if I just ate Thai from street/foodcourt it would be 200-250/day.
I mean I really like thai food but it's just too intense for me to eat every day. I think that's why Thai people are so skinny.
