You can't get a multiple entry non - o visa based on marriage, it is a single entry only.
I applied and got a visa last year, using it in January this year.
I had to send copies of marriage certificate, copy of wife's ID, proof of last 6 months income and photos, did mine through their office in Hull, took about a week for approval, had to take all original copies when I went over.

Rather than asking why it is allowed here, why don't you ask why it's not allowed in France? Many things are different in different countries - imagine how boring the world would be if everywhere was the same.

Once collided with a cow, made a real mess of my Isuzu. Cow got up and ran off, it did have a surprised look on its face though.
Car needed a complete front end, was only doing about 20km/h as I had slowed down while passing another cow.

sounds like ignorance on the part of the employer, I know of lots of people including my own wife who legally worked whilst on ILR
Company I work for employs foreign nationals with the correct paperwork, so long as they have the correct visa or indefinite leave to remain there is no reason to deny them employment. I could be just lack of knowledge or simply discrimination.

does the fan rattle when oscillating? that may indicate wear in the gears. probably best to replace with a new fan, however if you can put up with the noise it may last a good while yet.

we have 6 dogs, they are not huge but make a lot of noise, in my experience many Thais get nervous if confronted with a group of barking snarling dogs

Depends on how long you are planning to stay, if less than 30 days you can enter without a visa, just complete the arrival card (TM 60) issued on the plane.
For convenience take a blue or black ink pen.
If over 30 days you will need a visa to suit your circumstances.
