why call thailand a third world country?
would you prefer a third world septic tank?
-
elephant looks pregnant
could be just bloating from gas after dead.

yeah just like the dogs send them all back to the wilderness far away from peopleSad, and also horribly cruel to 'work' them as they do.
They should all be left to live in their natural environment.

pension income sent into thailand is taxed at 300 baht per remittance over and above bank fees.
oh and you dont need a work permit for this tax to be applied.LOL

New Multiple Entry Visa requirements are solely down to Visa extension abuse.
Could you please supply a link to those to new laws. I seen nothing to support your statement anywhere.Going back to the original post
You spent around 9 Months last year in Thailand on a Tourist Visa, guessing multiple entry plus extensions?
Then you left for 4 Months, 9+4 is 13 and you have just come back after being out for a 4 days?
You must of had 4 extensions if you say you have one already this year.
Immigration are only going on what the database brings up, in this case you have entered the Kingdom by chance and maybe refused re entry if you leave.
Visa extensions are being abused and this is what is happening to people, new laws are now enforced from 15th November last year because of this sort of abuse.
Advise is to get the correct Visa in future and don't abuse the system or piss off any Immigration officers, they have the last laugh.
You can now only stay 6 months at 60 day max a time http://www.thaiembassyuk.org.uk/?q=node/574
only says that UK'er and Irish are abusing the Immigration officers not anyone else

thats what you would expect for an insignificunt non billion country of that sort
Even POTUS doesn't have one
you dont think the now outgoing Chairman of the African Union (over a billion people) should have a private jet?OMGImInPattaya, on 06 Feb 2016 - 18:40, said:
No, the problem is he didn't sow anything but chaos, mismanagement, and hatred for the white man; and so his people have nothing to reap...but he does spend allot on his Pretorian Guards and fancy houses and cars and no doubt mistresses...maybe his people can fill their empty bellies with pride.
You forgot his private jets.

so you'd be an ardent backer of these war criminals who self righteously strut around the planet loudly proclaiming democracy at every opportunity while all the while strictly and steadfastly enforcing a planet wide military dictatorship with no voice or input allowed from a billion plus AfricansBuddumber, on 06 Feb 2016 - 21:20, said:

The man who brought about the demise of the once prosperous Zimbabwe. Presided over hyper-inflation, 80% poverty levels and 90% unemployment. Who decimated the farming industry along with a whole raft of other things that I wont go into.
Deserves a lot of things. A private jet is not 1 of them.
I hold the chairman of the AU in the same way as I hold the President of the EU. About 1mm higher than a snakes belly.

ok
Hence my suggestion to use a livecd which can be a thumb drive. Will always start from sata0 and label the drives from there.thinking further that sda is going to wipe the hard drive you are running from, presumably you will be wanting to wipe sdb or some external drive connected to your computer.

thing you have to remember is that in your own country you get an even break.
here you get every axxhole within 5 km actively looking to scam you, make you fall on your face. you know those required staff, thats so that the axxholes have inside info on your operation and can give info on how to throw a spanner in your undertaking. if you are in competition with any thai interest you have absolutely no chance of succeeding. bluntly, you are a fish out of water.
like everyone has said before, dont bring into thailand more than you can easily afford to lose.
sure the big well establish overseas names can cut it here but you on your own, forget it.

if they don't have a degree there is very little hope to get any decent job paying good money , regardless of their capabilities to the job. Very sad to be honest.
the education trolls are back!
i see over thirty year old women in the same market for years selling their goods/veggies/fruits etc. so they are earning enough to continue to be there and live a thai lifestyle. so how do you figure they have a PHD in Philosophy to do that? they seem perfectly happy with their lot to me, always a smile and good natured.

yeah mostly they come to thailand to play bridgeAbsolute nonsense. the OP is the type of person Thailand needs . He has the income and wants to spend it in Thailand. If Immigration keeps up this charade all the money will flow to other countries. Thailand is a developing country and is attempting to invoke a developed countries immigration policy. A huge mistake. There is already a flow of former expats to other countries and it will continue until the authorities get the word as expats vote with their feet. Thailand's reputation is already suffering from a poor Immigration policy; police raids on senior citizens and an increase on crime against foreigners as well as the usual scams.
They don't need farangs anymore they have Chinese.
Chinese tour tourists don't drink; don't do drugs, don't patron brothels, don't overstay and don't commit crimes.
They just come, spend money and GO!
You really know nothing about Chinese tourists. Just go at night to Chinatown and see the hundreds of hookers and the underground bars and clubs. Was their this week and Nana Plaza is nothing compared to Chinatown. One KTV after another in the small Sois and a lot of Chinese pimps and KTV owners with their Thai managers. A lot of the girls for sale are under-aged but they are from China, Vietnam and Laos.
No indeed I did not know Chinese package holidays included brothels tours!

valid date, yesthe valid date of reentry permit is equal to the valid date of stay extension ? What is the documents for reentry permit application and processing time?
only document you need is your passport and fill in the form given from immigration. add cash. processing time while you wait. depends on queue. same day for sure within an hour of entry into the building if you are lucky.
at a different office than where you are down as residing? no-can-do. but there are a few offices in bkk. have to check if other than chaengwattana can do reentry permits.
how do you figure chaeng wattanna is hard to get to? where are you heading from. laksi train station is within walking distance. i walked there and back a few times. also buses from victory monument to the front door, done that a few times too. victory monument is on skytrain route. sure you might waste an hour getting there.

He worked for years with Boston Consulting Group and Oliver Wyman and then he started his own consulting business focused in systems integration...hardly the profile of a criminal (although everything is possible).
he was living in sukhumvit, bkk. any chance he was linked to any bidders in the recent BIG money telecommunications license gamble? lets say for instance the dark horse outsider who landed a big one?

Mugabe rants at whites, Obama

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe was given a standing ovation by his peers at the African Union (AU) summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on Saturday as he handed over the chair of the body with a rousing speech, filled with more than his usual invective against former colonists, imperialists, Westerners, US President Barack Obama, the United Nations, and whites.
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon squirmed in his seat on the podium when the 91-year-old Mugabe - still feisty despite the annual eruption of rumours about his death this month - threatened that Africa would walk out of the UN unless it was given permanent representation on the UN Security Council.
We have asked and asked and asked for security council reform, he said, adding that Africans were tired of making hollow speeches at the UN with no results. He said Africans were not real members of the UN, only those with white skins were members and if they decided one day down with the UN they would walk out of it.If the UN is to survive, we [Africa] must be equal members of it, he said to loud applause.Youre a good man, Mr Ban Ki-moon, but we cant make you a fighter. Thats not what your mission was. But we shall fight for our own identity and personality as Africans.
He told Ban to tell the UN that Africans are also human, not ghosts. Tell them, that we also belong to the world. He said the UNs headquarters in New York was misplaced and should be in a more populous country, such as China, India, or in Africa.Yet Africans and others were placed there [New York] with the white faces and pink noses next to us - yet how many are they compared to us?But Mugabe also thanked Ban for working with Africa in fighting Ebola and helping to fight terrorism and other crises. He also suggested Obama was a puppet of whites. After berating whites for dragging Africans across the ocean as slaves, he said those blacks might now seem free - particularly Obama. But what is he? A voice made to speak their language, to act their act and not our act. They are still superious.Mugabe said in America black people were still inferior, living in places such as Harlem in New York, where education and health care were inferior.Black people were shot in the streets, and nobody seems to talk about it, but today instead they still want to talk about us.
Even after colonialism, the former colonists were still everywhere in Africa, if not physically, then through NGOs, a comment which drew much applause from the audience. He said they were also on the continent as spies, pretenders, some say they are here in Africa to assist us, even in armed groups in our territories effecting regime change.
At the end of his speech, which was scheduled to last ten minutes but in fact continued close to an hour - with many digressions down memory lane as he reminisced about the liberation struggle - Mugabe handed over the AU chairmanship to Chads President Idriss Deby, giving him a mock bang on the head with the chairpersons gavel as he did so.
He assured Deby that he would still be around if he wanted to call on him.I will still be there - until God says come to join the other angels, he said to loud laughter.
He raised his fist twice in a black power salute when he returned to his seat.
South African President Jacob Zuma seemed uneasy about the standing ovation, only rising to his feet slowly after nearly everyone else had.
