This lunacy of focusing on high income tourists/expats has failed for years, it's maybe time they acknowledge this is just not going to happen.

It's a great idea as long as it is not restricted to the very wealthy (who would chose to stay in Singapore over Thailand anyway).

These people are already well aware that they are to wear a mask and they chose not to do so. Talking to them is useless.

I was really worried about all those tourists from Bhutan, Cyprus, Ethiopia, Fiji, Malta, Nauru, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu coughing all over the place. Feeling safer now.

I know that. In most countries, living legally there for a long time will generally earn you the right to stay there forever. Being married is usually a fast track to citizenship. But not in Thailand.

My wife could get citizenship in my country really easily and pretty much for free. Can I get Thai citizenship? Probably not and even if I'm lucky and qualify it will take years and cost me a lot of money. That said it seems to be the only way to not get kicked out if I were to become a widower so I will definitely take a closer look, tired of having no rights at all.

Raised in Thailand, fluent in Thai, married to Thai, father of Thai children, business in Thailand... how many years did it take him to get Thai nationality? (and how much did he have to spend?)

Actually nothing at all, I just sent them an email saying that I wanted to buy the HI9813-5 and this is the price that they quoted me.

looking at the Blue Lab. I was told by the guy that got me into hydro her in LOS that it was

cheeper to buy Hana meters and tips/probes in the US and have them mailed here than

buy them here, especially if you shop O-L, that was 8 years ago, things may have changed?

rice555 : I run to waste too, but I am using a kind of moisture retention mat that keeps the water so well that I am a bit worried about Pythium.

I was not the one on the phone with them so I couldn't ask, but I think it might be because the product is not soluble enough or maybe because it can't stay in solution for long enough.

Thaigreenagro say that their products are not for hydroponics.

However they do have both Trichoderma and Bacillus Subtilis.

They indicated that we can buy from them on lazada http://www.lazada.co.th/thaigreen-shop/ which is convenient.

Since it's not expensive I will give a try to one of those product in powder form and see what happens when it's mixed.

I think thaigreenagro.com could have what I need but their website is kind of awful and only in Thai, I'll have to ask my girlfriend to give them a call

CLW : Their product uses Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens, I think it's kind of similar to Bacillus Subtilis.

Which bacteria you have in mind?

Beside that I read that a milk/water solution 1:10 could be also used.

Anyone has experience with that?

Nothing specific, as I am not sure we will have that much choice in Thailand, but some kind of beneficial bacteria that would be good against pythium (good point if it doesn't smell too bad!).
