I would try to record and put it on the internet in a way you stay anonymous.
I always hold my ground and never give in when they try to extort me.
Once I got pulled over by the police and as soon as I noticed the extortion coming I pulled out my phone and started recording. the police backed away and was scared.
SPECIALLY foreigners. if we give in wasy we will always be a target

Unless you are 30 and ready to commit to live in thailand for the next 20 yrs I think this visa is not worth it.

A forner ex lover, also thai. He is doing this more as revenge than concern for his reputation.

A female thai friend of mine is getting sued in civil court for defamation. she didnt take very well when she got the notice.
She doesnt have a car, home or even scooter under her name and doesnt even have enough to pay a lawyer.
I am tempted to tell her just to ignore it since she cannot defend herself and doesnt have any property under her name so they are basically sueing a rock.
Is there anything else they can do in thailand like wage garnishment or seize her the funds in her bank account?

Can you tell us how much you paid for the blacklist removal service?
I know people who have done it but it costed them 200k in bribes because there is no other formal way of doing it.

First thing you should do is go online and track the package at the thaipost web site, NOT the royal post. It will tell you where the package is. If it arrived in Thailand 10 days ago it is not unusual it didnt get to you yet.
If your package has no tracking number then there is absolutely nothing you can do.
Now if the package is lost you need to start the inquiry in the origin post.
Even if it shows the package arrived in thailand!!! This is a universal rule that applies for all post offices whose countries are members of the UN.
Yeah the UN sets agreements between countries regarding postal delivery.
It will take at least 3-4 months to get an answer back

I got fed up with the way the thai goverment treats foreigner and decided to move to ho chi minh recently.
Let me tell you it is a wonderful feeling when I read dozens of ads on the internet inviting foreigners to apply for job positions as engineers, teachers, office workers and etc.. where in thailand I would see "thai only".
Living here now I have the feeling I was living in segregation in thailand.
I am enjoying the fact if I decide to open a business and can just do it on my own.
Before coming here I stopped in PP, while there I had sand in my eyes all day, there is contruction going on every where you look. Property ownership for foreigners is more relaxed than thailand.
In a few years it will be a good alternative for the arrogant thailand.
Vietnam right now is the place to be.

First thai gf (village girl)was some u underwear on my birthday.
Second thai gf we shared costs of dinner many times and ocasionally she treated me for dinners
Third thai girk ocasional dinners at nice places and a 26k Samsung note as gift
Fourth gf, not thai. 100% Chinese. Many dinners, clothing and trips to phuket, Bali and Chiang Mai.
You just have to choose well. I don't even look at bar girls or village girls exempt for my first gf here. Yeah I was not experienced.
My tip to anyone looking for quality girls:
1- No bar girls, no village girls, no isan girls.
2- Don't have passport and never been outside thailand - bye bye
3- Half Chinese YES

Ouch! Renting short term for your stay here would have costed a lot less in the long run.

Thank you all for your input. I am looking for Taiwan for a better quality of life. I lived here for 4 yrs and I have seen everything from Chiang Mai down to Krabi. In the begining everything was wonderful but now that I settle down I see this is not the best place to live.

It is long term stay. I like to spend time outdoors, going for walks and hikes, in thailand it is hard to enjoy the outdoors.
I find myself in bkk just going from home to malls and places w a/c.

I am not a fan of the hot weather here. My friend was telling me about taiwan and it seems like a nice country.
Anyone here knows more about taiwan?

My gf got numerous changen visas. We were never asked to buy tickets before it is approved. The only thing was the requirement of buying travel insurance

You got your stay here guaranteed for another 3.5yrs. The restaurant got potencial but nothing is guaranteed. I would stay w the elite visa. I know one of the benefits of the elite visa is that they assist you getting a work permit. Try giving them a call.
